So when you saw Woody whack that speed sensor bracket in - they glossed right over using a little pointed stud or locator for marking his second hole - great simple trick most home guys don't know about. You don't even have to buy em, you can turn a point down on the head of an nice HARD bolt. Once you make a few on demand for each project, you will have a drawer full of em.

@@AngryTurds We do drink Budweiser and Coors Lite. They're very popular here. I live in St. Louis, Missouri, which is the headquarters of Anheuser Busch beers, so of course that's what most people drink. But all throughout the U.S. more and more people are switching to craft beers instead.

20:20 home made transfer point. These can be purchased from machine shop supply houses. They come in threaded and non threaded. You can also get transfer punches ( pin with a center punch point. ) that make things easier if you have a through hole.

down to the most tedious stuff, the wiring. i just did a swap with a very computerized engine (variable cam timing, electronic ignition and fuel) in a vw that previously only had a few wires. i was glad to finish that up and do the fun stuff, like exhaust, suspension, and body mods

Hammer and screwdriver work great to crimp wires. I've never had an issue out of hundreds of wires I've done.

A proper crimper mechanically welds the terminal to the wire strands so there is no resistance. It does more than just stop the terminal falling off.

I'm not saying that those tools aren't great to have but a flat tip screwdriver and a hammer have never let me down.

All ground connections are best with copper electrical paste . Ensures a good electrical path . Battery terminals too .

@MrBojangles Lemon squash, I believe, is basically what lemonade is to Americans. Carbonated lemonade. Lemonade here in Australia is basically Sprite; the clear, kind-of-lemon-flavoured soft drink. Though, while the Skid Factory guys occasionally drink Kirks (an actual lemon squash soda brand), they mainly refer to "XXXX Gold" (pronouced "four ex gold", an Australia beer local to Brisbane, their closest major city). The XXXX can looks very similar to a Kirks can, so they're basically joking about drinking on the job in a PG way. They were definitely drinking a XXXX in this video haha.
