I used to work in an assisted living facility for a bunch of old well to do people, part of my job was to entertain them for an hour on sundays. It started with me reading my original poems and then spread into reading songs that were poetic. Having about six or seven living survivors from World war II in there and knowing that this is an anti-war song I read them the lyrics and then played them the song. there is nothing in the world that can compare to watching a bunch of 85 to 90 year old people toe tapping to this jam. Richard Jobson is not only in ferocious shape he looks like a doppelganger for Clark Greg the actor that plays Agent Coulson in the Marvel movies. Thankfully he accepted my friend request on FedBook and IG. THIS is music, REAL music that the Jousting Beaver, Lost Direction, and Micky Mirage crowd could never understand if it bit them in their asses. ROCK ON JOB I and Mark B on the lead guitar.🔥💯🌎🌿🙌🙌🏽

I hope more of the audience did more than the ‘ foot-tapping with gentle-clapping ‘ as this scenario makes me question if us 50somethings aren’t much different from our parents at this age.....I guess booze and drugs are necessary-at least for the english there. It was John peel playing “ tv stars “ that got me listening out for The Skids. Yes - RIP Stuart - he and Dave Fielding of The Chameleons influenced Mr Edge for sure . Love from Wessex 🏴😇❤️
