Also, backtracking, if you didn't meet Mona first, you'll be introduced to her the first time. The same goes for Scaramouche if you did not do this event. You'll meet Scaramouche the first time in Inazuma. And if you met him in this event, he'll recognize you in Inazuma.

Funny enough, fischl was right, she argues that because of her vision(dukle something) she can pick up the meteor and later on it's the way to destroy them, even mona admits that under all her nonsense fischl is right During this event the visions would glow when close to meteors but characters like venti or zhongli who have fake visions did not

I always took Mona's reveal that she always talks about the fake sky is that she was told to talk about it like it was an incantation or ritual as part of her hydromancy/astrology readings. She didn't think it was a literal thing about the world, thus is was still a ridiculous thing to her when she first heard Scaramouche reveal it. So the fact she was already informed about this truth, even if she didn't pick up on it at the time, it really sheds some light on the Old Hag who taught her.

Hoyo have recently been dropping some hints on social media that they might bring back limited events First they posted a video showing all the old summer maps Then when they showcased the new 5.0 tracker system and the screeenshot had a bunch of icons from events like mona's hat for this event, the potion shop from a few versions ago and diluc's skin event They've talked about this in the past as well so i really hope they aren't just messing with us

Dude this not fair! I just finally end to watch all u previoust videos on genshin/hsr and tought finally was there just finishing Mona quest and saw this video, what a good missfortune🤣 Anyways I just wanna say I discover ur channel and regardless we agree or not on some matters, your care and investment on both worlds as well your deep analisis on demos/teasers is something hard to find, and no doubts deserve my sub. Unfortunately atm I can't afford to join ur patreon so I have to miss your full experience, tho I have to say the edits are so good I barely notice I am missing until u point it out, so cheers to editor too. Its a shame those type of events are not permanent, specially those that involve heavy lore drops, some people said that there are hints on social media that may be added on future but I feel is so unfair for new players to miss them, anyways keep the good work man👌

Sadly, Fischl is one of the characters that almost exclusively appears in events. She has been in more events than most of the other characters, I think. Outside of events, she is only in the TCG quest and in a very rare daily commission. You can also invite her to play TCG, into the Sereniteapot, or to the Imaginarium Theater as well, but those cases don't really count.

I didn’t know about the “Fake Sky” thing until I did the Sumeru quest and when I rewatched Neuvillette’s demo, I’m more intrigued. Can’t wait to see other events I missed

From loving Fischl as a silly/goofy character and Mona's smart and broke side to Leonard's peak story and Scara's lore bomb moment. This event was truly a gem for the story.

Prinzessin der Verurteilung, my beloved S2. I really wish they would add a hangout event for Fischl, a lot of 4* have screentime either on the Archon quest or in the hangouts, meanwhile my girl Fischl and if Xinyan (if I'm not mistaken) are locked behind timed events ( It took me two years to see her again after finishing this event lol).

I really love Mona and Fischl as a pair. Mona has a haughty sense of self importance of sorts, but I think Fischl's even greater over the top persona makes Mona take a step back act a little more humble herself because she realizes how Fischl sounds. And Mona is one of the few characters that can put Fischl in check with her astrology, but at the same time Fischl has great intuition and is often correct anyway. They really mesh well.

Since this quest envolves constellations and Scaramouche, an interesting fact involving them. Among all the current playable characters, there are only 3 apart from the Archons that have a constellation with a humanoid form: Aether, Lumine and Scaramouche.

Idk if pilos peak mentions are being looked into but here is something , Pilos peak was originally where monstadt was vebti cut the mountain down to build mondstadt ,the mountain landed upside down on the sea creating musk reef ( the spiral abyss being here is sus tho)

I'm so perplexed Hoyo made this a limited event instead of an interlude quest, I think they didnt really know what they were doing at this point in the development since it was only version 1.1, But its so significant that you meant SCARAMOUCHE here. And for some reason Fischl only appears in limited events, not even a hangout (i think she shows up in a random one time commission though?). Then the lore implications of falling stars and fake skies, is such an ominous and seemingly major plot point. I just dont get what Hoyo is doing half the time.

To be fair, we first talked to Nahida in an event too. Also got that god tier Kazuha lore in an event, while his story quest released in the same patch was dogwater in comparison. Also, EVERYTHING Albedo related that was actually insane is solely in story quests.

Yeah completely forgot how goated this event was, rewatching it with you years later was a better experience than I thought it would be. Fischl is incredible as always, really this is the event that made me love her so much(of course since it was her first appearance), very event she's a part of should be celebrated. And it's kind of bizarre how much stuff has been foreshadowed and revealed in this event. It really should be a permenant story available any time in the game even as just a fischl story quest or something, hoping they're making progress on that... And YES Scara has an incredible voice! Patrick did a great job voicing him and it especially gets even better in the later parts of his story in Sumeru, he really deserved an award for his performance it's so good.

Fischl is an interesting character. For some reason, her casual name, Amy, is a demonic name from The Lesser Key of Solomon: Ars Goetia. Just like Paimon, Barbatos, Morax, Asmodeus, Decarabia(n), Osial (Ose + Belial/Furfur), Andrius (Andrealphus/Andras), Baal, etc. (Oz could borrowed his name from Ose too)

Some of the thoughts I had at that time was. No1: What was so special about this mountain (and I have few thoughts about this now, because of some clues we find in dragonspine and other places like inazuma and sumeru.) No2: Scara only just figured out about the fake skies after experiencing the consciousness of Leonard through this core, which mean Leonard did discover something about this mountain. No3: since we can now all access this mountain, and we find the spiral abyss domain here, which means there is more to this domain then us just fighting the chambers in there. Obviously after continuous playing, a lot momre thoughts have surfaced but it would be intresting to know your take on how Hoyo tried to make us focuse on this perticular mountain, which now is an island.

I don't want to spoil anything on Fischl, and I hope other commenters don't, Like you said she does appear later in the 2nd summer event, though there are various character profile lines that explain a little more about her too. Everything said despite what some players might think, there is a lot of unexplained things about her. I am half expecting it to be a late game big reveal of sorts.

I love Fischl, I think she is still pretty viable even as a 4 star in the current meta. I am convinced Ningguang was meant to be a 5 star initially. And I'm half convinced Fischl was supposed to be too, but its harder to say with her.

Spoiled? That was literally in the version trailer you have reacted to long ago, though. I understand such things have a tendency to be forgotten until the next reminder but really, it should not be considered a spoiler after that. No context, no explanation, just a phrase that is already so meme. BTW I didn't catch of the player took care to show off Venti's "vision" not reacting to the shards. Anyway, that's a nice touch.

I have no recollection of a version trailer ever saying anything about the fake sky directly, although I don't doubt that it may have. I can be very wrong here. Regardless, I remember catching it in a comment section of mine by mistake so I knew it was coming, like I said in the video, and that's how I remember finding out. I will 100% point blame to those that meme and over explain despite my constant 'no spoiler' messages across my videos. I also disagree with your outlook on what consists of a spoiler. With that logic, I could go up to someone who is about to watch Star Wars for the first time and say, "Luke, I'm your father." and then justify it because it's a part of meme culture. Some memes can have an extensive reach but it also depends what you're into. Before I started playing Genshin, I didn't see a single meme about it because there's no reason why it would have popped up in any of my feeds before hand. It's a niche. So yeah, poor excuse, it's a spoiler. Not an in-depth one (thankfully), but it's still a pretty big drop. You don't have to agree with me of course, it's just how I feel about it. I should do a rewatch of the version trailers some day down the line when I'm caught up. Could be fun. About Venti, THAT is indeed a super cool little detail there.
