Great video. Unfortunately, they are in storage once again and not to be seen in Prague. Politicians are the problem.

Haha yes, politicians seem to be the problem everywhere huh? I read they were going to store them somewhere, that's too bad.

I am also a big fan of Alphonse Mucha like your wife. Slavic epic is work of Mucha's later years, isn't it ? The commentary on your wife of Slavic epics is so fantastic !

elton polna Hello again, thank you for showing interest in our channel. My wife will be quite pleased to know you enjoyed the video. She is a bit of a history buff and will be glad you enjoyed the information. You are correct, it appears as if he finished the works just 11 years before his death.

@@doposud He didn't start working on them until he was in his 50's. So, more like the end of his life. He didn't start them until 1910, he was born in 1860.

At 10.35 is not the 30 year war (Catolic battle), but the "Siege of Sziget/Szigetwar". The burning fortress with defending Croats and Hungarians against atacking Turks invasors. You made a good work i like your movie :) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Szigetv%C3%A1r

Great video. However your hands in front of the paintings blows the scale. They suddenly looked small, and I have been there, I know just how massive they are...
@TravelingBuildingGrowing4 жыл бұрын
