We women have to be gentle. It took me a long time to realize that.
@teresatilden4467

Gentleness is a virtue . It is easier to come by when our men are strong but kind . Men who are full, or overly mentally masculine .. who categorize roles too easily can drive their women into overly controlling behaviors .. .. then , it is unfortunately , more difficult to be meek it’s possible but difficult .

U knw, a kind and gentle woman keeps a REAL MAN around no matter the hardship, cz through her resilient consistency she is spontaneously reminding him how he can also become his BEST VERSION OF A MAN , & this is recipe to overcome TEMPTATIONS & all resistance to the good nature human has been created to become🙏🏼🙏🏼

This is very beautifully put. And very wisely, too, if I may say so. I was reading, a couple weeks ago, Maria Valtorta's vision of Her and Joseph going to Jerusalem to get Jesus recognized as an adult, when He was twelve. And, before leaving Nazareth, Beautiful Mary kissed Joseph's hand and asked for his blessing on Jesus and Her before undertaking the long journey to Jerusalem. I cried because the scene of the Immaculate Conceived kissing Her husband's hand and asking for a blessing is just so beautiful, so telling about the great chaste love She had for Her just spouse. And in a different dictation Mary explains to Maria Valtorta that She had turned Her just spouse into an Angel by the time he died. God Bless you always. Pax Christi

Im still learning it in practice, I know it intellectually but years of bad habits can be difficult to undo. I once lived very much in the world and worked a job that not many many would not do, let alone women. Thankfully God pulled me out of that and now I am blessed to be home with my children, but years of certain attitudes can be difficult to overcome. I am thankful for priests willing to speak on these topics.

Thank you for this. I used to be a rebel wife until God put his mercy on me and I found Fr Chad Ripperger talks about marriage and it blew my mind it really changed me God gave such an insight that I didn't have to struggle I didn't have to be a rebel i didn't have to put my worlds burden on me but I had to submit myself and i did it with joy it took awhile but I felt so free. I was were I was supposed to be and be the woman God created me to be submitted to God and to man. Woman you will not find more joy in anything more then to submit. I really recommend listening to Fr Chad Ripperger on marriage and womanhood it will really change your life. God bless Father ❤

Yes!! Fr. Ripperger confirmed the longing in my heart to quit my job and stay home. I am happy taking care of our children, homeschooling, cleaning/organizing our home, cooking, and gardening. It's not easy but it is fulfilling. My husband gets to come home to an ordered home and a cooked meal. He's no longer stressed about after-school homework and activities. His main stress is to provide and protect. I've taken over the rest. It's a very busy life but I love it!

I'm happy for you. I got married in 1968 and had my daughter in 1970. That was an awful time to choose to be a SAHM and my husband admitted he didn't want a SAHW. That "marriage" ended in annulment. There were times I had to go out and work but I was a failure at every job I tried because it was basically against my nature. I hadn't been around younger children when I was a kid but having my own was a revelation. I knew that's what I was meant to be.

12:30 Yes! Unfortunately, nowadays just saying anything less than flattering can get validated as being abusive. My wife (who has threatened divorce 100+ times in just 7 years of marriage) considers it abusive that I describe her as running with the devil whenever she talks or threatens divorce. I can’t talk to her like a normal adult, because she considers anything critical as verbal abusive, even while stated matter-of-factly at a normal volume. What’s worse is that she’s been told that verbal abuse is physical abuse. Unbelievable! And she’s the one who is the cradle-Catholic between us.

Many don't even consider God. Our society I believe is dealing with diabolic forces with men and women more than happy to go along with the ways of the world rather than God. This why it is so important for those who do truly believe to ratchet up their prayers and daily sacrifices. Many souls are running headlong towards perdition and in many cases only an act of God will save them. God needs us to as Paul tells us in Romans 12 : 1 "Present ourselves as a living Sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is our spiritual worship." ... God needs us to become living sacrifices, and people of action rather than just people of prayer. Prayer is good but prayer with sacrifice is better. Peter tells us "Jesus left us an example of suffering that we too should follow." There are so many who don't even consider these things, and I suspect many will be lost for not doing so. I just watched a KZbin video where Fr Mark Beard (St Helena Catholic church website) read a letter between a living nun and a deceased nun who was in purgatory. In it the nun in the lowest level of purgatory said that even Padre Pio, went to purgatory. If a man such as St Pio went to purgatory, how much more so will we. God Bless

So i took my time, went through all of the possible candidates, then i picked the best man to run my restaurant. Now obviously i want to be a smart restaurant owner, so if the manager i chose tells me i need to do x,y, and z, i should listen because he knows what he is doing. Now a dumb owner might ignore their general managers advice, and then wonder why they went out of business. Women need to understand they picked this man. He didn't force them into anything. Did the women that were traveling with Jesus ask to be apostles? Were they made apostles? Nope. Women were/are important to his ministry but not in the same way but not any less important. Men and women are complimentary and not equal. We have different strengths and weaknesses. I have learned that women should probably have a family first early on and not wait until it's almost too late. Late 30s and 40s it gets harder to get pregnant not that its impossible. You can do college later, that will always be there. You can take one class if that's what you can handle if you have a family. There are different ways to do it. Sometimes you have to take what people say in stride. Heck, I wear yoga pants out in public and I need to wear tennis shoes. My feet have a hard time even in flats. But I only wear dresses to church.
