@@thefumigator unfortunately this function helps only with water. If you get dust or, for gods sake, metal particles inside it's permanent. If the night vision camera doesn't seem useful to you, Ulefone also has other models with FLIR thermal cameras built in as well.

I really think that for a rugged phone the best combination is a plastic screen that won't crack and a glass screen protector that won't scratch as easily

I own 4 x Ulefone Armor rugged phones. Two of them have thermal cameras - an amazing tool to have on a phone, one of them has a built in walkie talkie UHF transceiver built in. They all have huge batteries. I love these phones, I buy most of their Armor iterations that get produced

I have the Armor 18T . It “only” has a 9,600 mA battery. But it does meet the other specs. And it has a thermal imaging camera. It’s tough. I only buy rugged phones.

Transparent steel has also been developed. I imagine it must be heavier than the aluminum, but ever since I heard about transparent aluminum back in 2018 (or 19?) I really, really wanted to see phone manufacturers try to do something with it.
@zeekjones13 ай бұрын
Sapphire glass **IS** the transparent aluminum. It is pretty tough, and used in fancy watch faces primarily. As mentioned in the video, a few phones have had sapphire screens.

Honestly. I have had this phone for about a month now. I use about 20% of battery per day in a 12hr work shift. Charge it about every 3 days. Has been dropped several times. No damage or scratches.
