What a surprisingly relaxing episode, that beach scene was the best especially the heartwarming moment at the end. I expected a lot more screaming in Brazil but to be fair they weren't there for very long.

I actually had a "friend" tell me that she booked a hotel for me, arrived at the counter, no bookings under my name. So I booked it myself, my flight was 2 days away. So I stayed in that hotel for 2 days, got to my flight only to find out my passport was not readable anymore because she put it into the washing machine. So no flight for me. Back to the Hotel, booked another flight but I had to wait 5 days. So I had to get on a train to my countries embassy, get a new temporary one and wait for 3 more days until my flight left. Another thing was that I couldn't get any tobacco or smokes since the shops at the airport just straight up rejected my temporary ID. A nervous wreck of a smoker, in a foreign country with no tobacco. Good times.

I'm 100% with Pim on this one. You're telling me Allan looked up the hotel, copied the link, pulled up Pim's contact, sent it to Pim and all the way at the bottom of that link typed "THIS IS THE HOTEL you should book" .... and NEVER checked in with him to make sure it got booked ok???? It's totally understandable that Pim, having just handled the plane tickets himself, sees the link and THIS IS THE HOTEL...(read more) and puts the phone down relieved that Allan handled it for them. That's understandable. And even then all it would take is ONE message "Hey Pim, was the hotel booked OK or will we need to find someplace else?" to make Pim go _oh shit_ and re-read the old message realizing he misunderstood the whole thing. But they didn't. NOT ONCE did ANY of them double-check. Which only further solidifies it in Pim's mind that Allan must've handled it. And THEY have the gall to act pissy with him like Pim's the asshole? Nah. That's fucked. They are totally ganging up on him. Bruh I'm so mad for Pim about this.

A week ago today, I went to Oslo with my mother to visit a sibling. We travelled from where we live to Oslo and when we got there, we were looking for our hotel but surprise, surprise. The hotel that we found ended up being a scammers nest. Not only that, but the scammer wanted us to wait outside the abandoned gas station so they could lead us the way. We didn't because we found a different hotel by that point, albeit it more expensive. I am certain that those scammers were trying to lead both me and my mother astray to then mug us. :P

When traveling on a vacation out of state or the country, always call to reserve a room at two different hotels. Go to one, and if they didn't screw up and you got your room, cancel the other and they'll usually refund your money (but with a small charge). Trust me, it's worth it. Never leave home without safe options.

Don't worry about staying if you're planning travelling outside USA...we are now is no longer like 10-15 years ago literally just on tip of your finger and all you need is smartphone and internet packet. There are various website for book staying internationally and they have very flexible Payment transaction too one of the best I use is (which in reply section because I can't put it here KZbin keep removing my comment)...you can get a proper fully functional staying room as low as $20-40/day...try look it up yourself in your browser, just type your city/place like somewhere in Brazil.
