This is just a fun Christmas themed pool practice drill called The Snowman. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has supported the channel over the last year and hopefully we'll all be able to get back to playing the game we all love next year.
The pool practice rountine requires two sets of pool balls. You will need 10 yellows, 12 reds & 1 black ball. You then need to pot all of the yellow balls first, followed by the red balls and then the black last. The cue ball must not run into any of the other balls so close cue ball control is essential. Good Luck!
The shots are carried out on a 7ft UK 8 ball table.

You can really see the difference between the standard balls and the aramith balls! Might give this a go... One day...

Both sets are actually Aramith balls so they don't play too differently. The darker ones are the Pro Cup and the lighter just the Premier ones. I wouldn't want to try this with the cheap heavy balls you often get, mixed with an Aramith set as it would be difficult going from one to the other.

Hey man I'm a pool player who has been playing 8 ball since I was 13. I would like to say i am pretty decent at it but the one thing i need help with is my cue action, because I always end up hitting the ball wrong when either going for a long shot or any other shot really, do you think you can make a video about that please. Thanks keep up the good work

It's hard to say specifically what you're doing wrong without seeing your cue action but it all comes down to straight cueing. It's something people don't practice enough but it's worth spending time on. This video has some ideas you could try kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJzVlYhnlruaqZo It might also be worth trying to film yourself (ideally in slow motion) from a few different angles to try and identify any parts of you action that are a little off.

nice video! Do you play much american pool though? such as WPA 8 ball rules and 9,10 and straight pool?

Thanks. Not really for several reasons. Firstly I play in a local league and we play Worlds rules 8 ball on English pool tables, there is no competitive league on the American tables near me. Therefore I prefer to practice on the same table at home because the games have some very distinct differences so switching from one to the other is not easy.

@@PoolSchool thats fair. I have a league that's local to me for 9 ball and straight pool so I get to practice quite often in american and I also travel to the states to play also which does help my game a lot. But I always struggle to switch back to english as I can't get on with playing with ping pong balls lol snooker cut pockets and cushions have never bothered me due to playing snooker and chinese 8 ball. But the ball size in english throws me off the most!

I never measured them but never really noticed much difference between them and other tables I’ve played on. Certainly didn’t notice a change when switching to the supreme, other than the difference a new cloth can make (tends to help the ball into the pocket a little more when brand new).

It definitely the best napped cloth I’ve had and it’s lasted well. The Hainsworth precision was faster but marked very easily.

Hi, what cloth do you have. I am after a faster cloth for my table. Thanks

I have a Strachan Superfine which is pretty fast for a napped cloth. If you want faster then you might want to look at a Simonis speed cloth.

I had this cloth put on the table when I got it about a year ago. I had my old table reclothed but got someone in to do it, never done it myself.
