Get into communication or marketing not screenwriting if you want to be a writer. I live here in Los Angeles. Two of my friends are both trying to be writers. One study screenwriting while the other study marketing/communications and would read and take classes on film. The one who is now working on in television is the one who studied marketing. She got her foot in the door at the CW as a marketing person. Once she got more pull, she started showing them scripts she been working on. Now she writes for a few shows. The screenwriter has been struggling to get any of her work looked at. Since she really has no way to get into the film industry

Honestly can not thank the costumer enough for putting Andrew Garfield in the black suit jacket with broad defined shoulders for the iconic scene. Like really do feel like that was just as pivotal as the performance and soundtrack and everything like it just makes that whole moment such a cathartic experience imo because the character up till then had just been kind of a sweetheart and never really stood up for himself like that and now all the sudden he just seems like confident and like taking up space and seeming masculine just😘😘😘perfect Legitimately has the same energy of like a woman showing up to divorce court with a fur coat and having the satisfaction of looking down on their partner begging for them back. Unmatched. Greatest scene of all time.

I’ve never watched this movie before, I didn’t really care to see how a billionaire made his billions, but wow I didn’t know what was actually in the film. I’ll have to give it a watch.

Highly recommended! Definitely give it a try. Just know that no movie that plays with the “how billionaires become billionaires” trope ever comes close to The Social Network.

Same! I never wanted to watch it because Mark Zuckerberg is a prick but I didn’t know he wasn’t the “hero” of the movie

I'll never forget the first time I showed this movie to my friend in college, her jaw dropped in so many scenes. What a great feeling sharing one of your fav flicks with someone else is. Thanks for doing that with us boys!

god it is both shocking and extremely cathartic to finally see other people being as insane as I am about the social network, literally all my friends are confused about why it's my comfort film 😭

@@PrettyMuchIt You guys should do a Commentary Track for "Mid90s" next! It's the film Jonah Hill wrote and Directed. I'm not sure about Writing, but it was for sure his Directorial Debut. It was really good. Plus, he even got Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross do the Score! Please do it! Thank you. Love the channel...
