As a Sociology professor, I really appreciate the succinct, clear and convincing explanation of what our field is about, how it's different from the individual methodologies of economics and psychology, what the differences are between opinions and arguments and between private troubles and public issues. XD The sign was funny. Cause they normally receive verbal abuse but now he is asking for it... It might actually work to dissuade bullies from bothering him while keeping his revenue stream coming. It could even make him appear more pathetic in order to increase his income. This sign might just be genius.
