You can buy just about anything in this world but time, and Craig Bierly is a man who truly understands the sacred and finite gift of time. After dedicating 26 years of his life to the aerospace industry, he could have comfortably retired to a sedentary life in a big house, but he opted instead for a nomadic life in his van-long before #vanlife became a hipster trend and hashtag. More than a decade after his retirement, Bierly is still on the road, chasing his dream of riding as much United States singletrack as he possibly can until his own time on the Earth runs out.

Inspiring!!. At 36, I'm in a constant battle in my mind on what I should be doing at certain points in my life and what society puts on you to be at certain points in my life. All I know is that I love doing the things I loved doing at a teenager at 36 years old. I just don't want to grow old or let age stop what I love doing.

I used to work with Craig at Boeing in Spokane. I always found him to be an intelligent, engaging and quite funny in a dry sense kind of guy. Keep up the biking Craig, I know you are enjoying your life and it's well deserved ! Bill Mills

I have no words to describe all the sensations that this story, and within this story this character, has made me experience in such a short time of this fabulous video’s duration. At 39, I have been searching for over a month for a type of bike with which I can feel comfortable to embark on an adventure not similar, but aimed at being able to enjoy a life similar to the one told here. But first, there is a lot of work to do, the first and most important, knowing how to distance oneself from the slave life that we 'must' have to stay afloat. With a bit of intelligence, cunning, and good behavior towards others, I hope not too long from now to be able to live my own life, without needing to have the obligation to get up every morning to give away my time for a few pieces of paper. Like Craig Bierly, I cannot conceive a life without pedals, I was also not very good at walking with this gravity. I have been riding a bike since I was 4 years old, nothing and no one supported my path to take off. It is time to build my own airplane to go as far as one can go. Thank you for this video, for telling this story, and for being there. Thank you.

Wonderful story! I admire people who just came to ralization that life is not just going to work or doing the same thing every single day. His sentence is so much eyeopening - "I'll rather have little money and lot of time then having a lot of money and no time at all". Hats of to Craig!
