This Nier anime adaptation has been fantastic. It’s not just a 1:1 adaptation, but an alternative story were some of the events deviate from the game. I’m excited to see what comes next and how it’ll all end.

When i Saw the Stage i was Totally freaking out, But when the Singer appeared on Stage i was like Please be "a Beautiful song" and Hearing her Singing the first Vocals i got Gosebumps, i Loved this Fight in the Game and love even more how Well they Recreated this Fight in the Anime, with the Same. I only recently took a serious look at NieR Automata, with the ingame Songstress fight. Just started watching the anime, and I am so impressed how seamlessly they incorporated this boss fight into the show. They didn't play with the music or the animations, just a straight 1:1 copy. I think it really shows how much the show creators made it for the fans, rather than just a general audience (cough cough Halo)

Dont get me wrong I still really like the anime, but It feels like they're missing out on some of the artistic features, in the game it feels like Simone is the one singing and her attacks are only part of the dance. In the anime it just feels like bgm

I’m against adapting such genius games into any other sort of media. Since the extra information between Paul-Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir has to be revealed knowing the context of ending A. Anime only watchers don’t know ending A yet. But this is still pretty epic.
