So the Boom character known as Sticks is actually mentioned in Sonic Frontiers. Because Ian Flynn can't help himself and likes using any and all Sonic canon, he had Sonic bring her up in one of the random lines of dialogue that pops up in the game.

Sticks is supposedly really popular in Japan, to the point where Sega of Japan says she's part of the main canon, but they don't seem to want to use her

I mean, Sticks sorta actually already existed in mainline canon anyway since she appeared in Japanese Sonic Channel comics with the main cast and in one of the Mario and Sonic titles, so her getting mentioned offhand in Frontiers isn't too shocking

Sticks is a canon. She appears in “Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games”. Game canon (Mario) vs Game canon (Sonic).

3:42 the only rope I can give it is that when they announce this cartoon when they were still doing the press tour for the game they said it took place after the Wii u game so they expected you to play that then watch the cartoon

38:46 Season 4 isn’t confirmed (Prime ended with Season 3), that’s just another fake IMDb edit that’s impossible for it to be removed (like the fake 3rd season of Camp WWE), but yeah, continue with the Shadow Jin Kariya bit.

As weird as it is, I'll take Boom over Prime any day. Because at least Boom was entertaining and doesn't go around punishing Sonic constantly just for being himself.

Whats funny about these two is both don't have plot but the characters themselves makes the journey fun. Which is an inverse of the last sonic cartoon war video

Well kind of. Despite their narrative focuses the episode selection screwed with that pretty hard last time: Most of the big plot stuff shown in SatAM and X sucked (the rushed cliffhanger and a space fight devoid of context) with the latter getting carried by the personalities of Car Char, the robot and spy teachers, Amy and her endless supply of anti-air hammers, etc. Meanwhile SatAM exposed the gang to a near-lethal concentration of Antoine.

I think this might be the most uneven split when it comes to discussion times for the shows for any of the Cartoon Wars eps. 20 minutes or so for Boom and potentially twice that for Prime

46:21 If you count "Encounter at Farpoint" as two full episodes, that makes "Code of Honor" (The racist one) the fourth episode of TNG. If you don't, it's "The Last Outpost", the episode where the Ferengi were introduced so badly it altered the course of the entire franchise. (It doesn't work as well with the other Trek series but it's fun to point out)

Sonic Boom is pretty funny. I like that the show Is not that serious. After the crazy ride that was Sonic X, I welcome this.

Boom is an Animated Sonic Sitcom, and I love it. Prime was disappointing. I loved Man of Action's work on Ben 10 and Big Hero 6, though it seems MOA gone downhill in terms of writing considering Prime is their worst work writing wise. Though the cast was great.

@LordLucario12 Yeah, Prime was a 1 season, but split into 3 netflix seasons show. Anything they do after wouldn't be called Prime even if it's in the same universe.

Yeah I think Dan read some false information somewhere because they only ordered one 24 episode season to be produced that was then split into 3 eight episode seasons for Netflix

Prime has everything a fan wants and does it’s own bullshit! There’s actually a pretty fun stairwell action sequence Boom is just memorable because it has meme quotes in the zeitgeist because of TikTok. Prime’s jungle episodes were the worst, but I enjoyed the show a lot. I might get Netflix again to finish it.

Looked up the Sonic Boom intro after listening. Wow that really is the most nothing cartoon opening I've ever seen. And hey I remember Terror in Resonance! I think I dropped it after a few episodes though.
