November 1st, 2011 I had picked this game up for preorder … The next morning my last living cherished family member took there life coincidently on there partners bday… I didn’t leave my house for a week I platnium es the entire game in 10 days, it was 4 days playing 3 days I stopped and then 3 final days I hurried the hatchet… I’ll never forget what this game did for me and it might have been the only thing to keep me from loosing my mind that week. Thank you Sanic 🙏

10:12 hey! wanna know a fun fact about this achievement? on PC, time attack is broken. it crashes CONSTANTLY. during stages, between stages, i once had it crash at the results screen and i guess it corrupted something cuz i cant even hover over speed highway act 1 on time attack without the game crashing. it’s the worst achievement to get on PC by a million miles

time attack has never crashed once for me, but i did just 100% the game a week ago so maybe something has been fixed? the biggest issue i got was it not showing my recorded time when hovering over a stage, but I still got the achievement

I got the 100% like a week ago. I only had to play the broken time trials and beat the final boss without taking damage because I somehow already had everything done 2 years ago. The time trial were the worst, they just kept crashing

i have actually 100% completed sonic generations 2 times....one time on the ps3 and the other on steam...it really isnt that difficult when you get the hang of things....and i intend on doing it again when sonicXshadow generations drops :)

omggg u did this in ABSOLUTELY the wrong order to have fun 100%ing it if anyones looking to have a better time with this game, i'd suggest beating the game first, while buying the equippable skills as you go to make any level repeats more fun. then play the missions, many of these missions will railroad you along certain paths that aren't made completely obvious for a first time playthrough. then you can go back through the levels again knowing the level rly well and collect all the red star coins. if you didnt S-Rank a level during ur playthrough up to this point, you would now have the knowledge to easily make a route for time and the skill to execute it. this also makes the time trial achievement a complete breeze, these levels can be really fast and feel pretty small once you know ur way around em. i had a lot of fun when i did my platinum run for sonic generations doing it this way :] that said we cannot forgive vector for his music crimes

Man dose not boost at all derting his gameplay? Makes final boss easy. Also greased Lightning is soooo much easyer after you get the homing attack. Honestly this is my favorite sonic game that I still play..... 2nd favorite Unleashed because that was my first 3d sonic game I played and it always feels nestalgic playing it.

This is one of the easyest sonic game to 100%. And fun fact: you can just leave and re enter the stage, you dont need to buy lives. I have trouble to s rank stages in sonic unleashed but in generations i can just easily do it. Try something harder like unleashed (would say try 06 but that would be torture)

For the time trial trophies you just need to play every stage in ranking mode and then try one of them in the 30 Second Test Mode

If you exit out of a stage and jump back in, it won't cost you a life like the restart option will. I figured that out at some point while trying to get the Xbox achievement for beating Green Hill Act 1 in under a minute (which I've still yet to achieve). Also you're better at Sonic games than I am, I can't even get past Sky Sanctuary Act 2. Fake gamer, I know.
