the very attempt to “resurrect” Sonic X-treme not bad, but for me, the best remake of this game remains “Project SXU". For example, there are almost no problems with drawing elements at a great distance as here. But one of the advantages here is the number of levels: there are simply more of them here

Project SXU is a Unity game for PC, this one here is a remake running on the Sega Saturn hardware, that's why it has problems with the draw-distance.

VR goggles literally inches away from your eyes is such a revolutionary and mind-breaking invention that everyone is onto it as the future of gaming. But put fisheye lens in a Sonic game and apparently that's going too far? And if it's the level design that bothers you, then let's just forget about Lost World.

If this actually released back with kids actually playing this. There is no way people back then would play this without feeling dizzy. Where on earth did I also say this was going too far?

@@locodesert2 That didn't stop Nintendo from releasing the Virtual Boy, for example. As for the "going too far" part, everyone addresses the Sonic X-Treme fisheye lens situation as such, or at least it comes off that way every time someone disses on the dizzyness part. So, yeah, everyone but you I suppose.

As a concept of game it's ok but as a real game it's doens't worked. Can you image the 90's kids playing this confuse video game? The Sega Saturn was a great console but, this is so much. I love Sega and Sonic but, Yuji Naka was right. This is not fun, this is just confuse.
