I remember when they were with Ericsson they designed an amazing phone that was small to fit the hand and it will flip like the Motorola Razor. That little Chomp was a beast in the music department, sound quality was amazing. So I don't think it's about falling for marketing, Samsung have got some serious hardware and beautiful design. Sony needs to go bezel- less and that fingerprint sensor should have been in display. But the other day I did hold and play around on a mates iphone 11 pro, i can totally see why people go iphone. I've been using Sony for more than 9 years now. I had the Sony Ericson, then Sony Xperia Z1 and now I'm on Sony Xperia XZ Premium. I've not even know, tried or even needed any other phones in my life cause the Sony experience is so clean, smooth, simple and immersive that it just blends with your life in the easiest possible way. I've never had a worry abt rains since I got my Xperia Z1(2014), I have been shooting underwater photos and videos since then. 960fps was introduced here first and I think it is one of the coolest feature out there. I would have loved to pre-order this like I pre-ordered my Xperia Z1 and XZ Premium but unfortunately Sony had stopped selling mobile phones in India. I have to try and get this from outside cause this is gonna be my next dream phone ❤️

Xperias are very well built, and if not for their apparent obsolescence in other areas, I would have considered to try switching from Galaxy Notes to them. The fact that they're focusing on cameras reminds me of the Sony Ericson days, when they had a line of "cameras with a phone embedded" philosophy. If I were in the market for a new phone (and had the dough to remorselessly buy it), this one would be in my list.

Let me tell you something about the PlayStation feature on Sony phones. I own an Xperia 1 right now but two years earlier it was an XZ premium on which I connected my PS4 through the app. I could stream the PlayStation on my phone and this allowed me to play on my ps4 whilst it was downstairs and I was in my room in the middle of the night. I stared at online enemies in Cod WW2 through an immensely small screen in comparison to a regular tv screen. Meanwhile the streaming to my phone felt like there was no delay at all. I was using the PS4 controller and connected that to my phone. Man that really opened up my eyes, how a phone can basically be a mini PS4
