Boy. Gimbal + Sigma 16mm. I can imagine you are getting a workout from holding it as it is no longer a viable vloggable run-and-gun setup anymore! I would use Sony 11mm, a Sony shotgun mic (ECMB1M rocks!), and an optional selfie stick. Stabilize with Catalyst Browse. That's more realistic and more practical.

The warble effect when you pan hard left to right.. or any direction - yeah I wish this camera was stronger in that capacity. What camera have you worked that has a stronger, faster read out for sudden movements?

Most other cameras 😆 I don't shoot 4k very often for YT so it's not a deal breaker for me, but yeah thats warble IS REAL!

Neither have in body stabilization, only electronic. I’d probably give it to the Nikon based on my testing with the kit lenses.

I still think I would have bought the Z30. The 1080 (50p/60p + 120) looks better in the reviews Ive seen, plus having a nice quality rear screen with a touch menu. The front dial missing as well isnt great on the Sony, plus a crop at 30fps isn't great

I mostly agree… it was just too close to my Z50 and that 16mm 1.4 lens got me. Not planning on getting rid of my Nikon stuff either 😉 As for the dials you can use both the back dials to control A and SS when the camera is set to manual. Works well enough.

@@ZacharyEldridge It's true that when you think about it, the Z30 is basicaly a Z50 with better video AF ( + fully articulated screen, USB-C, better inbody audio ) but without an EVF so they are pretty close. I do hope that one day nikon Z mount will get sigma's lenses too, they are pretty neat ( even if viltrox's are fine they aren't as nice as the sigma's ).
