I like how this one shows how Tony has evolved as a boss since season 2. He quickly identifies Feech as a threat, and Carmela's conversation about how all his guys are yes men who are terrified of him leads to Tony noticing Feech not laughing at his joke, suggesting he's not scared of the boy king, and will continue going behind his back and maybe eventually planning a hit. It's basically a replay of the Richie situation, except this time Tony learns from his past experience and nips the issue in the bud.
@marcuscato9083 Жыл бұрын
Sadly, Feech was basically written off the show because the actor (Robert Loggia) was having trouble remembering his lines. It later turned out that he had Alzheimers.
@liteflightify Жыл бұрын
That was rumored but has never been confirmed by anyone. Also, it makes sense story wise for Tony to get rid of a Ralph/Richie type personality when they show up.

Fun fact : @18:46 So the same thing happened with Tony and his mom, Livia, in season 1, but it was in reverse. Tony's trying to get away from Livia and as he's leaving the house practically running away he trips and falls on the stairs banging his knee. The camera cuts back to Livia with a smirk on her face. AJ didn't pull off the self-satisfied smirk nearly as effectively as Livia did, but it was a really cool reverse call-back that David Chase did there between both generations of mothers and their sons and one of each or the other trying to run away from the other.

Great job in catches Feech’s decision to keep the truck as a test from Tony. I never picked up on that from the 10 plus times I’ve seen this episode. If Feech just hears Chris and Benie’s story out and decides not to take the truck, that shows Tony that Feech really listened to what he said about making side deals but if he keeps it then he obviously didn’t learn his lesson and he should go back to jail.
