I often wonder where the show would've gone if Nancy Marchand hadn't died -- she was amazing and there would've been plenty of gold to mine from Livia!
@illyrian443 жыл бұрын
@@defragsbin Ive read that the story would develop into an actual court case against Tony with the airline tickets and Livia would consider testifying against her son or actually do it. Originally Sopranos would have been 4 seaons long and I think as part of that original ending, Tony would go to meet Johnny Sack and screen would fade to black which confirms his death to the meeting, similar cinematography used in the actual ending with the screen fading to black. imo the death at the hands of the Lupertazzi family originally would make alot of sense, a mounting case against him, Tony killing made guys without permission etc.

I was 10½ when this episode of 'The Sopranos' first came out & I still laugh at the way 'Mario Kart' was mispronounced by Carmella Soprano... I don't know if it was ad-libbed, or, if it was scripted/done by design, but, it made me laugh, back then & it still does, now.

These scenes where Carmela knows about uncle Jun going down on the woman before Tony does are gold.

My mom couldve played that role and wouldnt even need to act. Always the drama, the antics and the crocodile tears. Saying stuff, never seeing the harm in HER words but oh boy when you say something back.... always the same cards on the table.. "i am not good enough" , "i failed as a mom" , "what a horrible mom i am". But if you ignore the tears they are gone within 20 sec...

You know what’s really sad? This is a typical dinner I often have to put up with. The drama of real life family dynamics is no different than what we see in this clip. And it always ends the same way with someone walking out or crying or denouncing everyone and everything....🤦♂️

I love how Livia and Junior tell AJ about bad things Tony did as a kid.

They shouldn’t have. AJ thought his father was innocent until then.
