I know this is supposed to be sataryical shinebox comments only blog. However the actor that played Mikey was fantastic. He made the character scary, funny, stupid but clever, likeable, and despised. Not any easy task. I think he was up there with the best actors of the series. I also heard that he had to be burried in the same suit from this scene after Chris wacked him, because he was never able to get the staples out.

Agreed. The actors name is Al Sapienza he is also plays Marty Spinella, A lobbyist for the teachers union in House of Cards him and Frank Underwood’s (Kevin Spacey) rivalry was hillarious. One of my favorite episodes from HoC was there rivalry. Al Sapienza has like a wicked aura about him he Keeps this sort of levity humour but can also portray ruthless Too-hard to explain this dynamic he carries but he is hands down a wicked actor. & It may sound borko cliche and all but I do wish we see him in more leading roles for future movies or shows Etc.

It’s a major plot point but Tony was not going to face any problems other than Ralph being upset . Everyone hated Ralph

@@peteyprimo7173 Not true, they even showed the scene with Patsy and Albert out to dinner with Sil and also the scene with Ralph's crew at the diner, which were both to demonstrate that a made guy getting attacked or whacked by another made guy, especially a boss, is a big problem.
@mikef6063 Жыл бұрын
I agree its a bit of a plot line contradiction, but the way I would best view it is Tony's retribution for them killing Brendan, who answered to Tony. In other words, although Brendan wasn't made, you can't just go around wacking another made guy's connected earners. The whole point was it was intra-family war going on. In a war, things out of the norm happen, like people get beat with staple guns.
@peteyprimo7173 Жыл бұрын
@@mikef6063 you wouldn’t be wrong if it was the old mafia . Tony touches on this early in the first season. Things are changing at this time and the old rules don’t hold as much weight . Everyone hated Ralph and since this new breed of mafioso is motivated by their feelings then they wouldn’t care even if they knew Tony whacked Ralph. I doubt it would be much a problem even in the old mafia if you whack someone that is universally hated . Pretty much everyone wanted to kill Ralph at one time or another Gigi hated him. Ridiculous comment. There's no reason to assume such a thing. The story line was created for Bobby specifically. Mikey played his role. There's no "what if's". Besides, it's not even a good comparison. Bobby wasn't Junior's second in command the way Mikey was. Bobby was basically Junior's nurse maid and was all that was left over from Junior's crew because he was so helpless and posed no threat to Tony they never even considered killing him. He wasn't a enforcer, etc.
