@festealth8 жыл бұрын
The difference between Tony's impulse control, or lack thereof, compared to Chris is that Tony (at least until the later seasons) doesn't really do things that hurts the business. But Chris is more than willing to go into his own indulgences regardless of the outcome.
@jakep19797 жыл бұрын
festealth Chris promoted over Patsy was Tony's big mistake. He was enough of a fuckup as a soldier and adding more responsibility was the wrong call.

No. Tony's violence is tempered with intelligence and has a purpose. Christopher uses violence mindlessly or for violence sake. It's more like an alcohol vendor telling an alcoholic to drink less. It's ironic but there is a distinction.

@@jakep1979 You know what was freakish about how he died? He got suffocated to death by Tony after the Car accident. He actually did what he said he ought to do at Chris' Intervention to him. But the freakiest thing about that exchange between them is that he said that Tony was going to die of a Heart Attack. James Gandolfini in real life died of a heart attack. Even though one came true only in fiction it's still crazy how both events actually happened.

One more scene to show that mob life is mundane. Chris had the most boring job imaginable at the brokerage, but he needed to be there to keep things in line. Not much different from legit business. The boss is often just there to watch things, but has to be there.
