True. I live abroad since 6 years. Things have changed for and by Indians and it is the problem of poor quality migrants. Today everybody wants to come here. I am not very skilled as compared to any IT and most of my friends were low skilled. Most of my friends too have also managed to move abroad. Developed countries have had their visa system exploited with lack of quality students and it is now all quantity. We Indians are often seen being loud here in trains, creating groupism everywhere and breaking rules. Stains of paan, tin boxes of guthkha and loud Haryana and Punjabi music in cars is a common show off. Nobody wants to work with a desi owner as he will underpay. It's the problem with quality and not just the quantity.

Assuming your brother is earning 60K Euro(median salary is Germany-48K) pre-tax after master he would be taking home about 37K Euros which translates to a little above 3K/Month post-tax. According to Purchasing Power Parity in India, that is about 19 Lakhs(60K euro) yearly. It's not crazy money for an IT guy pre-tax, even in India.

In a cohort of 65 we had students from 28 countries. Job scenario is similar to india the better your uni or college is higher is the probability of you getting a good job. I dont agree. Im in the US and my life is a 1000 times better. Making my own food and cleaning after myself is not a problem as i live alone in India too. Also being amongst Indians is NOT a downside. Indians earn the highest in America becUee they are more enterprising and havw a strong work ethic. I think this video only appeals for people who are lazy, and dont want to put in the work when moving to a different country. ChnGe is hard, but you have to be very strategic wiht the way you make this transition. Also THE US has cleaner air - a very important thing for me. But i guess to each their own
@IyengarAaditya
@IyengarAaditya 2 ай бұрын
Of course, to each their own. I’m glad the US worked out for you! 😊 For me, things like being able to visit ANY kind of doctor on the same day with short notice and pay less than ₹1000 is a big deal. India is probably the only country where a doctor will visit your home for a nominal fee. Unlike the US where doctors’ appointments cost an arm and a leg or the UK/Canada/Germany where healthcare is free but appointment wait times are ridiculous. Things like being able to get repairs done on the same day, hiring a house helps or a cook for less than ₹5,000 a month is huge. Even the private healthcare system is a blessing if you have insurance. Many essential medicines too are a lot cheaper than in the West. Overall, life becomes INCREDIBLY easy in India once you cross the ₹12LPA post tax income threshold, given the much easier access to healthcare and household services. (The real challenge for most is crossing that mark given India’s current societal challenges)

@ceemapicardo3236 2 ай бұрын
@@IyengarAaditya a good insurance in the US shouldn't come with too many problems. Knowing to navigate their system should be important (some people just don't know how). Also in today's inflation 12lpa is not a comfortable income tbh (I lived in Mumbai so based on Mumbak cost of living if you're with family it's not much). US earnings give you a more disposable income. The statistics speak for themselves - verg few people who start working in the US come back to India (maybe for personal reasons). But the point is look at the general statistics. If US were so bad, US wouldn't be the most immigrated country in the world. That's just facts.

@@devanshkhatavkar4591 I'd suggest you research universities in the US which are as good as Jbims (and there are). Why would you want to pay for 2 master degrees. Apply for a masters in the US- to cut on the costs you can apply for scholarships. You may get 30 percent, 50 percent or sometimes even a 100 percent scholarship based on your profile and the university policy. Now suppose you get just a 20 percent scholarship, you can still offset the cost of your studies by applying for a research assistant or teaching assistant posts within your own universities. This pays atleast 50 percent and sometimes even 75 percent of each semester fee during which you are employed. And you also benefit from the amazing networking you can do with professors and other peers inthat department. Now another advantage of doing masters in the US is that you have what is called the CPT period (it can start within 6 months or 1 year of starting your masters). In this period you can intern and get hand son experience in the best Finance companies of the world (especially the ones in new York and chicago). So my suggestion is do ONE masters (I recommend US) for three reasons-1) to cut the cost and pay for 1 masters instead of 2. 2) CHances of getting a rebate on the total cost of your masters because of the provisions I mentioned and 3) the network and hand on experience in the best multinational companies in the world. Also a US masters has a much higher value than a jbims. The American dream still exists. You work hard and if you're resilient, with time you'll see that your disposable income will be atleast 4 times what you can get in India as a fresher. But the operative word is "hard work", "resilience" and "strategic moves" based on your goals and the market. Don't let the naysayers tell you any different. PS: you don't need 2 years to prepare for gre and ielts. :) All the best. You'll do fine. (And hopefully thrive). Hope you are successful no matter what you do.

Hi I just wanted to hear your opinion on this, I've completed my bachelors (BBA) in 2022, and since then l'm unemployed due to medical reasons, nevertheless. I'm 22years old rn, and my plan is to pursue mba in finance in a decent college like Jbims, which gives me 2years of time to upskill myself, a safe platform after 2years to get a job, and meanwhile in these 2years I can learn a language prepare for my gmat or elts and get god work experience before I go out abroad, conclusion being, 23-25 first masters degree and upskilling, and go abroad between 25 to 26/27 years old. Please give an honest review on this plan, don't hesitate to give me a reality check.

also your slightly is just way more big, India doesn't have formal sectors jobs much anyways the figures of employed people are just hiked up because of so many informal jobs these days.

What about you think this way , that a student gets opportunity to do their undergraduate degree in us and gain some experience and use that along with special skills to work in research and development in India, honestly I am accepted to a highly ranked and heavily funded research university in us, so what if my perspective is to work there for some time and return to India ?

Mr. Malik, I understand that you may have strong opinions about the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) compared to Chartered Accountancy (CA). However, it is important to remember that respectful and constructive dialogue is essential when comparing different fields. Both IIT and CA have their own merits and offer different opportunities for individuals. The pass percentage of CA is designed to ensure that only the most qualified candidates are selected, which speaks to the high standards of the program. IIT may not be at par with the standards of global universities, as evident from its ranking.Whether you completed CA in grade 10 or not, it is important to remember that actions speak louder than words. It is easy to talk about doing something, but it is much harder to actually do it. Please refrain from making disparaging remarks or belittling any subject matter.
