The sound design for Horizon and HFW is superb, having a proper surround sound system is needed to truly appreciate it
@emberdrops38923 жыл бұрын
My personal favourite is the bison-like 'Trampler' it's graphical design and its sounds give it such an amazing presence, such a 'might'. Brilliant Video! I wish it was longer... Horizon has so many phenomenal sounds :)
@prototypelq85744 жыл бұрын
The sound design of Horizon is one of the reasons I constanly return to the game. I am in love with all of it`s sounds - the movement, the combat sounds, ambient music, pretty much everything. My favorite sound would probably be the Ravager`s call. It is such a wonderful mechanized howl, I adore it.

04:30 also a perfect example is ava from ex machina. Her voice is human while her movements sound robotic

I'm glad I wasn't the only one blown away by the sound design in this game. Specifically the "clink" of glass when shooting a blaze canister, which you featured in the opening shots of this video, clued me into how much detail there was. The combat feedback sounds are the most iconic and memorable I've ever heard. It was sad to hear Anton say that most people don't pay attention to the sound design at all. It's true, but it shouldn't be. Guerilla did something amazing with this game, and I hope your interview helped them realize how many of us appreciate what they did. Thanks to you, and many, many thanks to Anton and Pinar.

I adore the sounds for the sawtooth. The stomping of it patrolling an area keeps you on edge, and its low howl it lets out reminds you “oh boy this thing can eat me whole.”

This is 3 years old I know, but I have yet to see anyone else say the same. Literally my favorite sound in the entire game are its footsteps as it patrols while you sneak.

This channel is insane. Every video I click on (I'm on a roll atm since I was looking for something exactly like this) is sick. Good script, makes me laugh which I wasn't even asking for, gives lots of insight into how people behind the scenes think and do things and is totally to the point. I wouldn't even mind if some videos were a bit longer and more detailed either

Amazing video! I also really love the sound design of Horizon Zero Dawn, the sound I like the most is the SFX that comes in if you pick up special items (green, blue, lila). The sound gives you a very subtle hint of wich quality you picked up and what is really important: The sound has a very low volume, so I realized about the exist of this sound after 2-4 Hours of playing. But, what is your favorite sound of HZD? Greetings
