a lot of the instruments she plays have transferable skills for example the note layout of a harpika is practically the exact same as the note layout of a kalimba the only real difference between the instruments seems to be how you pluck the note and the kind of sound the instrument makes that ofcorse isnt meant to diminish her skill with the instruments thats just something ive noticed in learning a variety of instruments the steel tongue drum (another instrument she plays) has a slightly different note layout but it still alternates between which side the next note falls on ending up in a 6 4 2 1 3 5 7 layout as well except all the notes and their octave up are beside each other so its more like 6 .6 4 .4 2 .2 1 .1 3 .3 5 .5 7 .7

This is beautiful! I wonder, tuning the 31 strings will take time.. But how long time does it take to tune them, and for how long will they be staying in tune after that if you play one hour every day? thanks for anyone who can share some experiences.

It took me a least an hour or so tuning them.
