The Sounds of Paris

Paris… Oh, Paris. You are my favorite city. Filled with romance, gorgeous architecture, more art than you could ever imagine, good food, tourists as far as the eye can see, and right now… the Olympics!
I don't know what exactly my calling to Paris is, but she calls to me. Maybe it's the artist in me. Maybe it's the art lover. Or maybe I was meant to be a Parisian in another life or something. Whatever the calling is… I have it. I think this city is so beautiful. No matter the weather. In this video, I captured some places that struck me as special and others that are very special to me. P.s. a fun story: I asked Nicole, my now wife, to marry me under the Eiffel Tower many years ago. She thought the ring and the box were chocolate. (Also, she said yes.) I was constantly being asked by street vendors if I wanted shitty wine or water every 10 seconds while we were trying to have this special moment. Nicole was completely oblivious, I was slightly annoyed, but I couldn't wait any longer. Also, I needed chapstick on the walk to the Eiffel Tower. What was next to my chapstick in my bag? The ring. I asked Nicole to get it out of my backpack. My heart dropped, and she didn't even bat an eye at whatever that box was next to the chapstick. All the things could have gone wrong and they didn't.
