its not just psychoanalysis but the entire therapy industry that has no evidence supporting and it can be harmful and the harms are routinely ignored or downplayed - See Jeffrey Masson's work on the former.

My physical health and relationships have improved significantly as a result of therapy, and likely would not have had I not gone to therapy. There are, of course, bad therapists who do harm and abuse their power knowingly or unknowingly.

@@waymaking23I’m referring to the ontological materialist assumption that the brain generates consciousness. I don’t think it does. I support the notion that consciousness is the most fundamental ‘thing’ out there.
