@@iamtalialin As a Midwesterner, I must say....you wore white after Labor Day. My heart was shocked at New England. Ok, maybe if you call it Winter White you can get by with it. But the stores must sell the clothes specifically tagged as Winter White. Good thing you weren't carrying a white purse or wearing white shoes after Labor Day. I know, I made that mistake once, and about 10 elderly women all ganged up on me and informed me nicely, we don't break that tradition here in the Midwest.

Old fashioned Southern Fall: "Honey, the yard needs to be raked again." Response: "Damn, I just did it day before yesterday." Not too distant sounds of gunshots from deer and turkey hunting confirms the season. Newfangled Southern Fall: "Honey, the yard looks a mess." Response "OK " The sound of leaf blowers go from dawn to dark. Not too distant sounds of gunshots from deer and turkey hunting still confirms the season. The South is all about traditions and some things never change. Happy Fall y'all!

As a New Englander, I can say that outfit most likely won't be enough. In the later months of fall no way you'll be sitting on a porch in that. The wind will come through those fabrics and chill your skin. Very trendy, though. Feels like something you would see in a Starbucks in Boston. Great sketch!!

Texas: I'm surprised y'all haven't covered The Temperature Wars yet. Ya know, the battles with Canada over the past years. They throw a little cold our way and we throw a little heat their way. Canada got me good back in Feb. 2021. I was crippled for a long time, but we got even. We threw some 100+ degrees (40 degrees Canadian- i mean Celsius) heat their way four months later. I'm pretty sure I saw Arizona and New Mexico throwing some heat too, but I think they hit Washington, Idaho, and Wyoming instead. I know a few of mine hit the Dakota Twins accidentally (my bad Kota). Florida, Bama and Georgia said they were going to throw heat at Toronto, Quebec, and Montreal but they hit New York, Massachusetts and Vermont...not sure that was an accident though. Louisiana and Mississippi threw some at Canada, but Minnesota and Wisconsin were in the crossfire. And of course when Canada fires back, the northern states take the brunt of their cold retaliation. The Temperature Wars have been brutal...people on both sides have been sickened, injured...killed. (sniffles) We won't even talk about when we throw the heat at the same time Canada throws the cold and they meet in the middle. When Africa joins the war it just gets worse. They drag the Caribbean into the conflict. (Cries) What did we do huh? What did any of us do to deserve this? It feels like it never ends! Nobody knows how it started. It's just an endless cycle of highs and lows. Highs and lows. Lows and highs. That moisture in the air? IS FROM OUR TEARS! Here, all y'all talking about Fall as if TTW never existed! (sniffles again). Never forget The Temperature Wars. Never. REMEMBER THE ALAMO AND THE TEMPERATURE WARS! AND FOR PETE'S SAKE WOULD SOMEONE TAKE THE MATCHES AWAY FROM CALIFORNIA, ALREADY? How many times do we have to tell them? DON'T PLAY WITH MATCHES! THAT GOES FOR YOU TOO COLORADO! You guys are awesome! ❤ from Texas

I'm from South Jersey. Just got back from a week in Kentucky, near London. It was not only colder there, but there was some snow! I was glad to get home.

Midwest here - Indiana to be precise - we finally had Indian Summer last week (in the 80's) and now it looks like we are finally getting prepared for autumn. Still in the 70's today, but glimmers of chilly during the night, so we'll take it.

Yep. Then ‘Indian summer’ a hint of winter. Then autumn, false summer and waking up to subzero wind in January. Then false spring in February. I never get out my winter clothes until January. Then just guess the rest of the year. Gotta love Indiana.
