The Southern African Liaison Office (SALO), in partnership with the Embassy of Norway in South Africa, invites you to a virtual public dialogue focussing on international economic re-engagement with Zimbabwe.
The UN announced in September that it will send a Special Rapporteur who will visit Zimbabwe in order to assess the impact of sanctions on the country. Additionally, in 2019 SADC declared 25th October as the day for SADC to campaign as a region for the unconditional removal of sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe. This discussion will look at what sanctions mean for Zimbabwe, arguments for and against, and the way forward for the international community on this issue.
Speakers include Hon. M. P. Mangwana (ZANU-PF) and Jacob Mafume (MDC Alliance) and other political parties and civil society voices.

A whole complete mayor doing a zoom meeting whilst driving. It shows a bad picture 1,on Safety .2,on etiquette. Mangwana seems reasonable and his hands are tied up he acknowledges the mess up by Zanu though he wont say it on this Panel. Hopewell is the standard of what we need in a leader

This so called Salo and Norwegian embassy in SA deliberately chose people who represent political party and organisations that are pro west and support sanctions. You can also easily sense the imbalance by the time others are allowed to speak and others are not. To the so called professor who is moderating I say shame on you. It was obviously an imbalanced panel.
