Visited my Friend Kichii in Portland Or where he lives now after moving there from Japan many years ago and he took me to a place called Matsunoki Ramen there and it was amazing. Why? You Americans are Sociable people! Why do you want to avoid other people in American kind, accepting and friendly society! This is really harmful to mental health!
@87togabito10 ай бұрын
I’d personally say that being around others more than necessary bad for my mental health. Socialising is overrated. Why do you need to spend time with others anyway? Just stay home, order some nice food in, turn on the console and AC. Life couldn’t be better. Spending time at a party or outdoors sounds like torture tbh.

Great clip! We lived for years in the quarter just behind Ichiran headquarters in Nakasu, Fukuoka. Yes, we did eat ramen 😀 Bones are boiled 24 hours and hams 4 hours, the smell on the backside where the fans exit out is horrible! But the ramen outstanding. In this and many ramen shops you can get a refill of noodles free or almost free if you have soup left, salarymen often get a refill. Yes, I always finished all soup 🙂Arigato!

Unlike in countries, where customers tend to dine in 2 or 4's, Japan has a lot of single diners, most of them are maybe office workers who dun have the time to engage in a conversation while they eat during lunchtime, so they prefer to eat alone quickly and go back to work i guess.
