Every single one of them faced the challenges life throws at us. Role models for all of us age groupers reminding us to trust the process and believe in ourselves. Thanks.

It’s funny because his name is Justin and so is mine. I’m 22 and he’s 23. The only major difference is I respect Kona enough to never predict a win but just try to race to the best of my abilities. Hope to race him in the future. Glad this race humbled him. Amazing effort by the entire Zwift team! So inspiring.

Like he said, it's not about predicting a win, it's about believing in yourself :) #RideOn

Yes, from watching the video you can clearly see that I was going around saying that I was going to win and nobody else even stood a chance. I think I may have even said something about predicting a "25%" chance of something... And as you could tell, i certainly did NOT try to race to the best of my abilities. Only the best people named Justin would try to do that. NEVER would those great Justins go into a race trying to win either! Blasphemy! Or god forbid they "think they have a shot" to win. The nerve! The only respectable thing to do is to go into a race trying your hardest to lose. Also if you would like to race me I do uphold that anybody who wants to 1v1 me in a triathlon in my hometown I have the perfect place for it (OWS, bike and run at same venue). I will even split the travel costs. I am getting an MRI to see if I tore my hip labrum. I am still down for a 1v1 even if it is torn. I give myself a less cocky 24% chance of winning.

Yeah saying you’re planning to win your age group and being a cocky douchebag about it, then coming 29th is what I would say the game plan didn’t work. And if your game plan is hoping others fail you’re going to be royally F’d. And he was.

This guys are basically professional age groupers. I hope next year zwift picks some average age groupers that I can relate more towards. 800-900k bike weeks and low 8 hr Ironman finish times are semi pro crazy
