@aleafar6295 The thing is, he isn't Mr Freeze, he doesn't have an "Ice Gun", he shoots absolute zero, the ice is just a byproduct. No molecules can move at absolute zero, only reason Flash can is because the SF messes with physics, and he also has a "forcefield" of sorts made of absolute zero surrounding his body, so no matter where Flash attacks him from of how fast he attacks him, he's still going to be stopped by it.

Yes and no. His weaknesses are over-explored and come out of his own humane limitations. He CAN choose to make his perception as fast as his speed. And he CAN do all of that stuff in essentially stopped time. But then he would be forever alone when he uses his powers. If his perception was as fast his movement, running a lap around the globe would feel to him taking as long as it would for an ordinary person to walk around the whole globe - months, if not a year of non-stop movement. So, Flash goes onto auto-pilot and turns off his brain to FEEL FAST. Since his perception is always magnitudes slower than his movement for that to happen. Likewise, to have a human conversation, he slows down his brain to the speed that other people talk at, or else what he would be producing is utter gibberish super-speed speech. And here is how Flash is vulnerable. Sure, he CAN be very strong and invincible if he really uses all of his cognitive speed, but he DOES NOT WANT TO. He wants to feel blitzing over highway in second, allowing for speed-force to take him onto auto-pilot, instead of slooooooowly walking when the time is stopped. As a result, his reaction is also slowed down. So, said Deadshot can hit him running through highway, because his brain is passive during that “boring” part of his travel. Since Flash did not expects it, he can be hit. He can be blindsided, because of his humanity and human levels of patience. Likewise, in Injustice, Flash arrives on a scene and toggles his earpiece to talk to Justice League. As a result, he slowed down his brain processing to TALK, and an ambush attack done at human speed (Harley Quinn slapping him with a hammer to the back of his skull) works. Because that IS consistent with his power. Flash’s biggest weakness is his NEED to be human. To interact with people on a non-speedster level. If Flash used his powers at 100% output all the time he WOULD be god-like, but also would be one of the loneliest, most miserable beings on the planet. To conclude, Flash is the one that CHOOSES to toggle his potential ON/OFF to feel human. His inconsistency stems directly from his own choice/control of his powers. He is Plutonian-like character of sorts, where he is as vulnerable as he subconsciously is/consciously chooses to be.

The writers are stupid, but not because they nerf Flash. Comic book characters are interesting not just because of their powers. In fact, writers giving them godlike powers does the reverse (no pun intended), making them plain and boring. It's a known fact that writers use the Speed Force as a deus ex machina, allowing it to do literally anything the plot requires, including going back in time, throwing a punch that would destroy the Earth if thrown and moving a zillion times faster than than the eye can see. If Flash/es used these world breaking powers, ALL villains would be defeated faster than I can write this comment, but this would make his stories incredibly dull. Fan boys love these feats as it gets them free internet points when arguing with strangers, not realizing that these feats, when used frequently, would greatly cheapen Flash.

Yeah, that's my biggest pet peeve with the show. In some episodes, they're like "hey flash, just start searching the city and find this thing" and he can search the whole city in a few minutes. But then he's fighting a villian and he falls down, and then by the time he gets back up he doesn't know where they are. Most speedsters in recent comics do. You need to understand that speedforce is, essentially, an endless source of energy that speedsters can manipulate at will. Hence, they can turn that energy into momentum or re-absorb energy they cause to the environment (so, you know, they don’t disintegrate people via super-sonic explosions when they run past them). This way Flash can essentially bypass Newton’s third law as well. Now, if you know equation E=mc2, you should know that mass is just a highly concentrated energy. So, as a result, a being with a free VIP pass to the universe’s largest power source can just MAKE MATTER/MAKE MASS. Sure, it is not efficient, but they CAN do it. Since they have access to said tremendous amount of energy, they can just use a lot of it to create a suit, or, likewise, after they are done, dissect said suit on a nuclear level and re-absorb the energy the used to build it. Building a suit might not seem like much of an accomplishment, but making it out of pure energy is VERY costly. Suits has billions of atoms in it, and speedsters need to manually create billions of atoms out of pure energy. So, to build just a suit they want, they need to exert power equivalent to a couple thousand nukes or so. Hence why they always re-absorb the suit back into speedforce nowadays. Since otherwise they would be just be wasting that TREMENDOUS amount of energy every time they decide to suit up. Now, likewise, this is also the reason why they don’t use that ability often and don’t create very large AND/OR permanent construct (kinda like Green Lanterns). Creating a IRL pyramid from speedforce would require pure energy equivalent of millions of Tzar bombs. So, speedsters just create small objects and make them disappear once out of use. Difference between lanterns is that speedsters have to MANUALLY create said atoms out of pure energy, whereas Green Lanterns have an equivalent of MCU Mind stone/supercomputer on their finger that does all the computations for them (hence why green lanterns can easily create MUCH larger power constructs, since they simply supply emotion( aka magnitude coefficient) and an idea and the ring creates whatever for them). It all makes sense Sci-fi wise. Sure, that would mean that an evil speedster of Barry’s caliber can just choose to, you know, release said energy to kill all life on the planet (instead of merely creating a cute suit), but that is another topic of discussion altogether. Usually such catastrophic side-effects of power are often omitted in superhero genre (unless we take “The Boys” or “Irredeemable” stories).

This is an interesting video that I needed. I often found it odd that although speedsters have the ability to vibrate THEIR molecules to phase through objects, they wouldn't try to discharge that power to vibrate the molecules AROUND them to create whatever that could to help them in a variety of situations. With that said, when I drew my own speedster just for fun, I added his backstory to be able to use this power to create his suit. I never knew that Wally did the same.

I mean it’s quite a very good inference to make that if you didn’t know already. It’s like saying if Batman already has augmented reality situations, he can easily make some sort of AR reality situation that goes against the toughest super people, and allows him to figure out how to avoid, hit, and possibly out maneuver them based on the context of the situation. It’s something I always thought and think is why he can go toe to toe with people like Darkseid, way more believable than just getting lucky or something.

@@pulatelephonics Yea, the whole story is pretty insane. Flash got infected and started infecting every human witin seconds because he's so fast. Superman knew he couldn't catch up with him so he decided to go for head on colision. Got pierced by some bones. He tried to starve himself of oxygen in space and flying as far away from earth as possible but because he wanted to say goodbye to Lois and their child he doomed them all. There was this line, something about "That day we found out what happens when the unstoppable force meets the immovable object." Kinda chilling, but to this day one of my favourite comic series.
