I used to have this concert on VHS. My family and I watched it a lot. The Speer Family was one of my parents and grandparents favourite gospel groups. They had a lot of their records and later CD’s.

I'm not a "Southern Gospel" fan, I lean more towards Contemporary Christian Music", but this Speer Family's song makes you feel good when you need Jesus. He is the dearest friend you could have! Dad Speer must be a good song writer! I'm in my mid 50s and still like old Rock-'n'-Roll too. I guess I can listen to Taylor Swift doing Southern Gospel.

I some country music related a of them but I lose gospel music and I listen to different ones the speers are down to earth people. A lot are in the arms of the Lord but their music keep them alive. I was from the south and they didn't let their their music destroy how they lived growing up. They reminder up bring. They are just down to earth.
