I go to pip decks when I need some calming energy, without loads of busy scenes (and definitely without a man/woman/adorable-fuzzy-animal being bloodily impaled by ten swords). So this looks like EXACTLY what I want in a pip deck. And the art is gorgeous. 😍

Going pip for calming makes a lot of sense, especially to avoid sensory overload. And I feel you on being over the gory scenes. One I can’t with is the Hanged One card when the figure is literally being strung up by the neck? Like the ankle is fine, but the neck is…a lot lol. Glad you dig it so! 💖

This is so lovely! No joke, I thought, "This gives me 'Gris' vibes" at the 2 of Wands and then you immediately said it. The character design in this deck is so masterful, and I loved your commentary.

Bahahaha, oh my goodness, I forgot I said that 😆 So you know how lots of high priestess cards have B and J written on the left and right pillars respectively? Well, yeah, I don’t ever think of Boaz and Jachin when I see those letters on the card lolol. Also I’m glad that makes a little more sense now 😅 I can’t remember what Boaz and Jachin are supposed to stand for, but it has some sort of relevance for some of the tarot deck creators from way back in the day. But yeah, please no B+J pillars in decks 😆

LOL *weakening intensifies*. I can’t blame you though, it’s so pretty and has a thoughtful LWB! You’re so right about it being a nice match color-wise for the Monsoon Tarot, and vibe-wise overall. This (to me) feels like the more grounded cousin to Monsoon’s super watery, dreamy ass. Of course I guessed haha. 💖
