You know, I'm not sure how I stumbled upon this video and wouldn't normally leave a comment but I feel I have to. As a drummer, I've been enjoying Rush since 1974 and I so enjoy how Neil always played 'to' the music rather than just 'with' the music. I've watched dozens of Rush drum covers, but yours is the only one I've come across that makes me feel like you get that. Neil was always about finesse, accuracy, and consistency. Something about your playing just feels like Neil to me. Thank you for posting this.

Nicole im saving this one as its one of my top fav Rush songs ! I grew up with all Tama drums and Zildjian and Paste' cymbals and then one day i got invited for a demo at d.w Drum manufacturers in california and i was hooked! When i played any cover by rush i was blown away with all the potentials of recreating Neil Perts masterpieces and whats crazy is i found out he did the exact swap change also to the dynamics and richness of percussion those drums would elevate . On my Alesis Strike pro se i dial in all my equipment double bass to the DW drums with the head unit and can almost recreate every rush song possible ! You do this so well all your own ❤

A couple addendums to my original comment: first I still cannot get over how much she is able to accomplish from just a 3 piece drum kit. Second, I'm finally able to listen to this on speakers that can reproduce the kick drum and it highlights an entire additional layer of talent including her floating heal technique on the kick.
