Fun fact, those two skeletons on boats names are Sammy and Deano wich is together with those "wayward" spirits looks like a reference to Supernatural series and its main theme song

Hermod taps his sword to the floor twice, this is the earliest sign of the overhead swing special attack. Get a slight side view angle and it is easy to see. It hits 1500 to 3K so it's worth avoiding.

I got an question can be low combat to complete this quest?

Technically. I realize I had 99 Def & HP when I did this, but I still had lvl 65 Necro (the miminum requirement for the quest). It depends what "low" combat means, but I think even if your Def and HP or low its still doable. Bring an inv of your best food and definitely avoid the spin attack.

why do you suggest their 70 gear when you cant make it until you complete the quest, Spirit of the War?

I could've been more clear there, sorry. I was suggesting to have the Kili Row quest complete so that AFTER this quest you have access to the T70 Power upgrades. I used T60 here but it is kind of funny you can't tell the difference by how the gear looks.

Any tips for someone who is more osrs player and doesnt really know how to boss fight with what you mentioned? Just trying to get my max cape back have 70 necro but idk what auras or that prayer is as its been so long since i was on rs3 thank you

A little long winded, but here's what i can think of. Mainly I'd recommend leveling Necro a bit more. Unlocking new abilities and spells will only help. Get t70 tank armor and weapons if you haven't already, they're a good step stronger, you can augment them, and the weapon has a REALLY strong special attack (Im still using t70 gear and the spec hits 11-14k on Hermod, depending on your Necrosis stacks). I found this boss doable with minimal input and almost full revo, it'll just take longer than a more manual approach. If you don't already, do try to have at least the skeleton and ghost conjures hotkeyed because you can't full revo those. Extra tip, if you unlocked the ghost's command option via the talent tree, it's very strong to start a fight with. There's a trick, where Summoning the ghost costs 30 adrenaline and using the command costs 70, but if you do this before the fight starts it actually costs NO adrenaline. Really handy as you can do this before the boss attacks you for a very big damage boost, and have the Death Skulls or whatever ability at the front of your bar and still have full adrenaline to start with that. Otherwise, having Soul Split (or Deflect Necromancy) and a Vamp aura will make it extra easy. The prayers/curses at lvl 70ish necro are not going to make that big a difference tbh, there's a Leech Necro Attack and Leech Necro Strength you can use. Extreme Necro pots will help more imo. Do your best to dodge the big spinning attack. It hits the hardest, and disables Soul Split/Deflect curses. Look for when his sword drops to the ground and you see small green fires around you. Move at least 2 spaces away to avoid the hit. I said in the video you can use Resonance to tank the hit but I found this actually still disables your overhead prayers... Lengthy response but I hope it helps! You can do this mostly osrs style. I haven't gotten to Zulrah or that level of boss on there yet but you can fight similarly, just attack and move a few spaces for the big hit lol.

@@jasper_72 thank you for such a lengthy response I actually killed him in one go with quite a lot of food left in my inventory I got to 72 before I went to the quest and I now have the full list of abilities from the skill tree ready to unlock at 76 necro. I mostly aggroed him through the whole fight and ate through his sword hits I killed the skeletons and had the necro deflect pray on and honestly spammed clicked my ability bar and that worked however I've screen shot this because I do have to do that old black magic and do Hermond on normal mode which should be okay really appreciate all the detail and your time it took to do this happy scaping 😊

You can follow along for a few min starting at roughly 2:25. I didn't timestamp each one because I found them close together, and they do wander so there isn't an exact location to find them. But approximately they're in the NW, NE, SW, SE corners of the lake.
