“The Spiritual Essence of Politics” Seminar with Mark Mawrence

In this special seminar led by Mark Mawrence, we will examine the essential qualities of human nature, beginning with the fundamental question: Are we inherently selfish or altruistic? We will explore the various arguments and empirical evidence for both claims, and we will conduct an in-depth review of esoteric and gnostic perspectives on the purpose and meaning of the soul and its destiny in human form, ultimately proposing a paradigm shift in what it means to be human.
We will consider and discuss whether a sense of the sacred and the embodiment of spiritual principles can carry over into the realm of politics, particularly in the contemporary world, where the political often seems like a cynical and fruitless enterprise. We will demonstrate that these principles have not only been at the heart of every meaningful political movement in history, but also that expanding their impact is an evolutionary imperative for the survival of our species.
Mark Mawrence is a Partner in DMG Global, a strategic communications and marketing consultancy, where he has successfully served corporations, governments, and political candidates. His work has focused on predicting future trends in business, politics and communications, sales and marketing strategies, as well as on issues relating to “Socially Responsible Corporate Practices.” Following one of the guiding principles for his life’s work-bridging the gap between the spiritual and material world-he has organized and directed numerous international conferences, established successful sales and marketing organizations in a wide range of businesses, innovated new models for corporate practices, and worked with numerous charitable non-profit organizations.
