You are not under the law (of sin and desth) when you walk in the Spirit, you must be under the law of faith to be justified, we have been set free from doing sin not good works.

We do not have to fulfill the Law as Christ was the only one to fulfill it. We have 2 commands - Love God and Love Man - They had 10 commandments and 613 statutes ... however, those 10 commandments reflect a good way to live - but no, we are not bound to the Mosaic Law ... especially those of us how profess Christ ... we are sealed with the Holy Spirit ... we should be producing good fruit ...

Yes blessings to you and thank you for a great question 1. New members should know and understand what is salvation all about biblically. 2. They should be taught that they are free from sin, Romans 6 chapter, Romans 8:2 3. They should be taught that the Holy Spirit renewed them and that they now have the nature of God, Titus 3. 4. They should be taught that they now have peace with God through faith in Christ, Romans 5:1, and they will have tribulations but it has a purpose as well. To name a few

I say bewitching is they were committing sin, and under the law of sin and death. The truth is righteousness. Like the Romans some were holding truth in unrighteousness (sin). Galatians 5:18 "under the law" is the go back to the law of sin and death, because you will not sin, else if you do sin like Peter you return to condemnation. Paul warns of this in Galatians 2:18, "For if I build again (by works of the law (sin)) the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor". There is no condemnation for those in Christ, but if you walk after the flesh you become subject to death, as Jesus changed the covenant to allow forgiveness but sin came in by Adam on mankind, and Jesus could not take that away.
