I'm almost certain the "Actors cussing" part of the iceberg is actually from the episode "Sailor Mouth" where the actors who's words were censored with the comedic sped up kookaburra tweet (which was mistaken for a dolphin) were actual swears rather than placeholder swears, considering Tom Kenny's Elf voice sample was inspiration for the voice he uses for voicing Spongebob

All good points about the deadly sins theory, but it's important to remember that lust isn't always sexual. Lust is defined as a hyperfocus or obsession on something. Spongebob fits this really well because he's obsessed with almost everything he does. His job, jellyfishing, his friends-- it's good that he loves those things, but there are some points where he takes it too far (like the episodes where he cries at closing time or bothers Squidward because he wants to play with him so badly)

It was not a "spoof" but a straight, serious adaption. They changed the names because they couldn't get the rights for the book. Stoker's widow sued them for plagiarism, and the film was nearly eradicated.

Regarding the "just one bite" episode: I'm extremely sure that back in the days I saw a version of the episode (in Germany) where the parts with the buckets of gasoline were cut, but the explosion and Squidward coming through the door were still there without any context. Maybe it's the Mandela effect or something like that but I am pretty sure. Edit, cause I think some people fail to understand me: I *know* the scene has been cut because of 9/11 or something, I watched the video too otherwise I wouldn't have written a comment about something that was in the video. But I remember it only partially being cut, with *only* the gasoline buckets missing but with the explosion and Squidward being burned still there.

Regarding the nickelodeon hotel, I remember being inside of it when I was very VERY young, I don't remember much but I remember there being a balcony where the pillars were painted the famous nickelodeon orange. I also very clearly remember the flooring being a deep navy blue. There was a huge pool / pond in the center of the hotel that you could see from of the balcony, however we did not end up staying there. I know for a fact the Teenage Gary deleted scene was fake. This episode freaked me out so much as a kid, but I remember as a kid wondering what Squidward’s transformation would look like. I have no memory of said transformation though, which is why I get annoyed when people said they remembered him transforming

It turns out that SpongeBoy was actually not a mop company at all. Spongeboy was a piece of art that was put on a set of pencils and there was also a comic that had a character named spongeboy. The confusion was caused by miscommunication.

An unofficial/parodic addition to the Depth-Abyss level of the Spongebob Iceberg might be the violent Spongebob Microsoft Paint slideshow cartoons made by panchitomatrix back in the late 2000s. He made several SAW movie parodies using Spongebob, Patrick, and Squidward and I vividly remember Squidward being Jigsaw on the ground in the 1st movie parody. Patrick also became uncharacteristically evil in the 2nd one and threw spongebob into the Needle Pit trap for the key. The rest of the cast were stickmen with colored mohawks. Another PanchitoMatrix 'animation' i remember was Spongebob and Patrick robbing a bank and killing people with shotguns. I tried to dig it back up but I think they're no longer available on youtube for several years likely due to community guideline violations (the channel itself may still be up but I haven't checked in a long time). I bring it up because I found them more disturbing than the 18+ Spongebob Parody that Oney made. But if you want to give it a go and search it yourself, those were more or less the titles of the videos themselves.

I never understood what my mom saw in SpongeBob that i didn't. I could hardly ever watch it as a kid because my mom said she didnt like it and couldn't tell me why. But when i was a teen, she told me she had a bad dream about me and my twin sister and she never went into detail but still. She gets... Weird and jumpy when it comes on the tv. She'll do anything and everything to turn it off, one time even unplugging the TV. I'll never know why my mom is so freaked out by this cartoon. Especially because i have nothing but positive memories with it.

I have been to multiple nick hotels and stayed in spongebob rooms as a kid in 2011 or so. It was always a wild experience and one time there was a full on movie theatre with 4D spongebob. Just felt like sharing that because I have talked to a lot of ppl and not heard others who had ever stayed at the hotels

I stayed at the Nick hotel back in I think 2016. I can't remember for certain what themed room I had but it was something sci-fi (The only Nick show I really watched as a kid was spongebob and fairly odd parents). I think the spongebob room is more about the existence of a spongebob-themed hotel room rather than something scary or dark. I remember meeting some kid that had a spongebob room. I don't recall him saying anything was off about his room when I asked about it. Nothing in my room really scared me at all. It was all pretty normal, but one night, the fire alarms at the hotel went off so we all had to evacuate. It was a false alarm, though. I remember having a great time overall :)
