Open game teams Son at front cos of space etc. Low block teams need a Strong Striker to hold ball etc and give and go or heading it etc. Son on wing for speed, creativity, taking on defenders etc.

Being a spurs fan for 52 years and always enjoyed our style of attacking football but I think our football is a bit gung-ho it leaves us too open at the back but as for Ange he deserves another season to bring in the players he wants but I still don't trust levy to put up I'm afraid but come on you spurs cheers Barry Easthope

Totally Agree, Well Said! The problem with many Spurs fans. They are so impatient. So we Lose 4 games at the end of the season. Suddenly, they want Ange Out, Really…? Remember what was said at the beginning of the 23/2024 there will be bumps & pot holes along the way. The rebuilding Process will take time. We need atleast 2 transfer windows inorder to attain The right 5-6 quality players who can play the Ange-ball system ? Then let’s if we have progressed up the table and see where we finish in the league let alone win a trophy.

Ange should ultimately be judged next season if Levy backs him in the summer transfer and whether we are able to sell players that don’t fit the system. One final observation and time will tell……Van de Ven is our best asset and Richarlison is a liability.

Just in.......in order to compensate for low blocking teams, overwhelm them with the back line defenders and midfielders to act as strikers! This way, the opposition has to overload their defense with forwards and midfielders acting as defenders! Also have the left or right center backs protect Vicario during the corners set pieces! Liverpool, West Ham, Arsenal, Fulham, New Castle, Chelsea, and most likely Manchester City will have to change their tactics as well. Before this huge deficiency was discovered by Wolves head coach, Tottenham was left holding with no options. Now, Tottenham has found a way to overcome low blocking teams using the overused highline offense.

Midfield has cost us all season I believe when bentancur 8s fully fit and back to his best the restoration Midfield will fall back into place I believe bentancur is the key but we still need a proper number 6 a WC striker a couple of wingers because we are not going to challenge with only 6 or 7 players who are only sold on anje ball we need at the very least 5 top players to come in the summer and at least 8 to leave

We are an attacking team. He is useless going forward. Not good on the left side. He did ok at CB. He should go. Play back in the Spanish league which probably suits him better. He won’t create or trouble the opposition team. We need at least one player who can play left and right back, or otherwise need two players. Ben Davies should go while we can get £5-8m for him. Left back has evolved well beyond his abilities. We can get a younger CB involved as our 4th choice.

Why is Leo hating on Richarlison... as if he is comparable with Emerson? These are two VERY DIFFERENT footballers. In fact their country of origin, is about ALL they have in common. Richarlison when fit is the #9 for Brazil. Emerson will never play for the National team, again -- he is woeful, just good enough to play in the Championship. I very much doubt that Richy will go to Saudi Arabia... because he Loves Spurs! How do you think Harry Winks will do, next season?

What I would say though Craig is, Luton and Brighton went to Newcastle and gave them a decent game both come away with a point. We folded in every game recently against good opposition, why is that? We can't keep folding in pressure games not helped btw with our club interviewer when he mentions the away crowd are noisey or going to be up for it. Stop that nonsense it's amateur. Every team has to deal with a noisey home support. (Yes even Luton and Brighton) The team need to stop making that as an excuse for failing, and grow a pair .😅

We had a manager nuke the club in conte. Ange comes in and brings in brilliant players. He loses the best player in the Premier league He makes players who were duds look fantastic. We have an injury/suspension/AFCON/asiacup.crisis!!!! We come out the back of all of that 5th. Pop the Champaign!!! Ange will make the team.better in the offseason and improve the squad. I like Leo and mostly agree with what he adds, but I'm FULLY with Chris and Ricky: I will not vote for Spurs to lose. That's what a true SPURS' fan would want. Besides, there is a good chance Villa will lose their last two as Liverpool is tough and Palace Away may be even harder. We could go to Champions League, and remember, even if we get third, we still get Europa. Sorry that Leo faces so many Gooners, as here in Portland, OR it's way more casual. We all just support teams and don't blast the other fans....although Chelsea is another story. Even then, I'd never wantr Spurs to lose to monkeywrench even them.

It was for sure not good enough, mainly with the front 3 and most of all from Madison and Son they should lead the team and where selfish and where not making the right decisions.The midfieled Bissouma, Sarr and Bentancur where much better.

Unless theres significant investment in the front line, I do not see how Spurs progress next season. The teams around us and above will not sit still. Spurs were not the only team to have injuries. I need to see how Ange handles Europe, PL and cups before Im convinced hes the right man for the job. Hes had more training time with his squad than any other PL club yet somehow the football has regressed.

Free lesson. You must be young and not an athlete. Training is all good and well but it’s all about having the base fitness, repetition (regular games), time to learn the system and better personnel. So fitness base just isn’t there as going from a counterattacking team to full on attacking and everyone running much more in this system takes time build, at lease a season or two. Then there is the regular games, and we just haven’t had that, stop start, injuries, there just hasn’t been much flow post Christmas and never a settled side as players were out of form. Learning the system takes time however some players will never quite perform in it for various reasons and as such some areas look bad like set pieces. Mental strength is a very important part of being a top athlete. The greatest athletes of all time have the strongest mental capacity to perform in adversity. So you can tell a player what he needs to do at set pieces but if he can’t execute due to mental lapses then it will look like we can’t defend. Lastly Ange has inherited a squad that obviously needs a cleanup, it won’t happen overnight so he needs a few windows to address that. It’s fairly obvious where we are lacking and by end of year 3 the squad will look very different

​@gama4095 I'm 41. Not exactly young. I played sports growing up. I get some of the points you made. But clearly there is something wrong with the system. Spurs since Christmas have performed on par with midtable sides. If you just look at teams around us. Poch has Chelsea ending the season on a strong note. They have Cole Palmer. Spurs have Brennan Johnson. This is my point. Spurs need someone that gets 20 PL goals a season. None of the current forwards are near that. Except Son, but he's declining.

Arteta won an FA cup. Had a far inferior backline, go look at the players he had. Our fans think Romero and VdV are world class. Vicario, Porro and Udogie cannot be upgraded on. Ange also didn't have Europe to deal with. He's had more time on the training ground than any other PL team.
