This tank has the size of a heavy tank with the mobility of a medium tank. If your team has this tank and the enemy team has an elc and you play on a open map your team has such a massive disadvantage. A bourasque is half the size of this tank, has the same damage output but the better camo and mobility.

The main issue with these tanks is their class. If they were classified as medium tanks, they would be improved with additional armour, health, and penetration.

I would say the problem is more an existence of ELC. I would say being light tank is bonus as you have better camo on move. I would fixed these just by adjusting mm that they should be matched against mediums only.. same as bourasque should be matched against lights

The Squall literally has the size of the Kunze Panzer or even bigger. It makes no sense to compare it with the EVEN 90, it's insane to think they are both light tanks.

6:00 you can use in theory HE and move across a bushline, if you don’t see the impact explosions, you know you blinded a tank there. because the czech lights have so much shells per clip, they can use that ability on more than like one or two positions like other tanks. especially in a platoon, blesh/squall can swipe left to right (or the other way) and the td can blindshoot the position the HE didn’t impact

Problem with that is you get spotted a mile away and get instantly deleted. Clever light tank players will know how to outspot the czech light tanks easily thanks to the tremendous advantage provided by the camo. The Squall literally has the size of a Kunze Panzer and unless you have city maps, you will struggle a lot.

I wanted the Czech lights to be fun. But they get out spotted by everything and so slow and the dmg output is meh. The idea of them is cool, but yeah, they need serious buffing.

Squall should be re-classified as medium given the size and acceleration, be it the first autocannon medium, but in traditional wargaming fashion, they either completely break stuff or miss the point altogether just like the Groms, BZ176 vs Mauerbrecher, K2 etc...

Actually I do well in my Blesk, as I play it like a scout, use the bushes, and clean up at the end. I've gotten Patrol Duty and Spotter badge. With Standard Equip I have 44% cam and 477 view range. I find most Czech light players will play them like Meds first, and just shoot everything. Not sure what my experience is/was against ELCs... Like anything, it's about playing smart and patient. I used to do recce/recon IRL, which involves a lot of "sit here and watch" moments. As Girulz Und Panzers would say, "It's Op: Sneaky Sneak.. with extra Sneaks 🙃😉 Thanks for sharing, guys o7

When I played the Blesk I didn't have too much of a problem against ELCs, however that was less to do with the elc as a tank and more to do with the players who play ELC on the NA server. Most of them are really bad at playing LTs and don't set up the tank correctly, so I was able to outspot and outplay them pretty frequently. The games I played against a half decent ELC tho I just died or couldn't play as a spotter.

the czech LTs feel more like IFVs or AAs than actual LTs. that might explain why it's slower (other than balans). the hull just reminds me of the BMP i'm hoping i didn't get this tank considering i'm notoriously bad at LTs

I’ll be honest I do enjoy the Czech lights, they aren’t good but they’re different and fun. The only critiques I would have for your gameplay is that the HE in general looks like it would be good, but is usually shit to use. The T34 would have died if you used the AP instead. The other is at longer ranges, bursting the gun is usually a lot better, but it’s still nowhere near as good as just a traditional tank gun as the severe lack of alpha hurts at poke damage.

Its pretty painful to see that despite the Squall having better camo than the Blesk its just too big and slow to be useful as a light especially since most tier VIII lights are ELC EVEN 90's or LT-432's, both of which can outspot you, and the latter isn't pennable with the HE. The HWK 30 and M41 90 at least have the benefit of being fairly quick with very high view range and a HESH round that makes them quite diabolical against other lights.

I felt while playing Czech light tanks. You can’t just unleash everything all at once. Personally, I shoot them by 30% short bursts. Like 30% burst each time you shoot, after that you aim a bit and shoot again. Could help , could not .
