She'll be back. Ours returned a few weeks later after giving birth - maybe about 4-5 weeks total. Now we see her almost every day again - hopefully with the little ones soon.

Years ago my dad was hand feeding a squirrel and got bit on a thumb. A couple of years later it developed cancer and he had to have the first digit removed. Coincidental? Doctor's couldn't say.

Cutie is my favourite, please let us know as soon as she returns. In my backyard my favourite squirrel is “stumpie” who is missing 1 rear foot and still manages to hop around and climb with the best of them. Stumpie disappeared for 2 weeks but came back recently, she was never gone more than a couple days prior to that. It is heart warming with they return seeing we know that they are then safe, and eating well. Cheers.

I have a “Stumpie” in our yard group of squirrels😁 This poor girl damages the two middle toes of one front paw 2 years ago. The toes eventually fell off😟. But she recovered and she’s still all over the place. She looks pregnant again!

I know the feeling. I’ve been feeding a stray tomcat for almost 5 years now and the feeling I get in the pit of my stomach when he doesn’t show up for a couple of days is horrible. I hope she comes back soon. 💜
