The fact that Europa Park seems to be the de facto theme park people go to to get inspiration for actually building their own theme park/resort is both incredible and speaks volumes about its own quality.

Well it’s because they were working with Mack Rides. Mack owns Europe Park and essentially uses it as a testing park. Clients looking to install a Mack attraction will visit Europa Park to observe a ride model in action.

@@northernlightscoasters9916 Yeah, I have no issues with Mexico at all, as I would travel there over many places here in the states as well. I'm currently going through a divorce, and going on a vacation(while very much needed), is the furthest thing from my mind currently. But like I stated, if I got the chance, I would for sure try this place, and I'm fine trying other locals south of the border, as nothing wrong with the destination, so much as my current situation.

Sorry, but you will not get anything. This is a luxury theme park, so you will be guest of the resort or you will never see it. This is a theme park for the top 1 % of the global citizens, so not for you and not for me. And also not of most of us here.

Más allá de que haya suficiente mercado en México se espera que vayan muchos canadienses y gringos. Lo bueno sería que al parque si le vaya bien para que Vidanta o incluso Grupo Xcaret se animen a hacer más parques de diversión/temáticos en Los Cabos, Cancún, etc. Pd: Si, el parque no va a ser barato al igual que Disney, Universal o el propio Six Flags México que para lo que ofrece y lo que le han subido los precios termina sintiéndose caro. Aunque no creo que el parque vaya a ser tan caro como la gente cree, lo caro va a ser si te quieres hospedar en los hoteles de Vidanta si no eres socio.

Something like Tecuani Beast would be a great replacement for Vortex at Kings Island. They could even give it 6 inversions like Vortex and maybe even clone this ride and put it in its plot of land.

Let's see the momentum continue. I'd love for Latin America to see a theme park boom. We're seeing growth in Mexico and Brazil, let's see new parks in Chile, Argentina, Colombia (they have a population to sustain new additions on top of what they have), Peru and Guatemala. Also, as small as it is I think Uruguay would be able to support a decent sized park in either Montevideo or Maldonado. Keep it coming Latin America!

I mean, I’d call the Incredicoaster, Tron, Expedition Everest, Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye, Radiator Spring Racers, the various Tower of Terror clones, Test Track, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Rock n Rollercoaster, and Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars thrill rides. Maybe not as extreme as others, but thrill rides nonetheless, so the comparison is pretty apt.

It will be a closed and gated resort. If you will not booked the luyury resort, you will not be able to visit the park. So stay there for a week, pay thousands of $ and you will be able to visit it.

The fact that they’re repeating this place will be “luxurious” makes me think this place will not be for locals or even the average Mexican. Most likely this place will be for rich American tourists who are gonna live their vacation in a closed resort, far removed from the real Mexico and most importantly the real Mexicans. This is gonna be Gated Community Land, Gentrification World through and through.

It’s truly sad because this company and this amusement park have destroyed ecosystems and mangroves in that area, is well known that they don't care about preservation, a lot of activists are still trying to stop this project. Just because it’s something we enjoy doesn’t mean we should turn a blind eye to such corruption and environmental exploitation, or be part and help them to grow that way.

As a Vidanta member, I'm glad that they're making progress on this. I think in the future, we'll see more exclusive resort-like parks from other resort companies. Jungala, their water park, has an awesome lazy river that goes around the entire park. It's not accessible to the general public unless you're staying at the Riviera Maya resort.

This makes epic universe look a small project. 23 highly themed attractions. If they pull this off like the concept art the wealthy going to be choosing this rather than Disney for vacations as better park and the hotels in area actually 5 star and all inclusive plus right next to the 🏖️
