I was working at the Stanford Mall in Palo Alto when the quake hit. Craziest sound I ever heard as the moving seismic wave frieght trained in. Never realized how bad it could have been if traffic were normal and the Stick had not been shored up.

I was there working for the media as a stat runner. Katy feeny was our boss chub feenys daughter. Was the most amazing experience in my life. We were working out of a room on the mezzanine level a room with no windows below the upper deck and above the lower deck. I thought for sure we were going to become human pancakes. Thank God for the upgrade or thousands more may have died or been seriously hurt that day. I never completely realized this until I watched this video. 🙏 🙏 🙏
