Take me back to my youth, Stampeders, Lighthouse, The Guess Who and more. Great Canadian music, love it. This song had wide, wide airplay back in the day, it was everywhere. Wild Eyes is a favourite. Great choice! Thanks Mack Daddy, thanks Justin

Whenever I hear this song I think of Summer as a kid. It is one of those songs you would hear on the radio in Canada when you would be outside and have the radio going.

Yeah, I remember this song on the radio and saw it performed live in the late 90's at the Shamrock Hotel (Calgary, now closed) by one of the band members. Thanks JP & Mac Daddy! Rob😂

Wow this was a surprise. The Stampeders were my first concert. I think Wild Eyes was a hit at the time. Check that one out.

I was one year into playing guitar back then. One of the happiest tunes I know, like "Sure feels good, feeling good" by Elvin Bishop

Kim Berly was actually his stage name he was teased all the time for Kim being short for Kimberly, even Ronnie King had a stage name he was born Cornelius Van Sprang except Rich Dodson, Sweet city woman was an International hit everywhere. Rich Dodson rented a banjo and thought it would be a unique sound as the part was written for the Guitar as he was heading to the studio in Toronto to record it. Ronnie King lived in Calgary and he grew up there since he was a child of 8 when he left the Netherlands.

I went to high school with a girl whos name was Laurel Ann Hardy. She had never heard of the comedy team Laurel & Hardy, so I was the one to break it to her. She didn’t believe me. I told her to go ask her parents and she did and was pissed the next day as she told me thats who she was named after.

As soon as I saw the title, the chorus popped into my head. But I don't remember anu of the rest of it. I would have been 3 whe this came out.

This is a classic but my favorite from them is Wild Eyes because it's their heavy one.

Perhaps it sounds familiar to your ears, not because you have actually heard that section before but, because it works so well within the song? Because it's supposed to be there.…

I’m sure you’ve heard the chorus like at the grocery store or something. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Did not know they were Canadian, but I’m sure they’re just a one hit wonder.

Hell no this isn't even their best song, imo Wild Eyes is.
