It was cool when he made the OHL Draft but I’m so happy I got to go to school with who because an NHL Legend. Jett Luchanko is one of STA’s few students to make the NHL and he won the Most Likely To Succeed award for it at Prom 2024 before he left for the NHL Draft in Las Vegas. Also while he was there, he got an honourable shout out at the Grad Ceremony this year. Jett made OHL history, STA High history, and is now making NHL history (a lot of us are jealous of him but happy for him at the same time).

Well, Jett got an NHL welcome. He blew his assignment and was on the hook for Vancouver's second goal. But, the team stepped up, grinded it out and got the two big points. Both Jett and Mich looked a little shaky at first but, they settled down nicely as the game progressed. Now, Jett's mistake... It's going to happen. Plenty of 10 year vets get behind the opponent and it costs a geno. No reason for alarm. Actually...most likely a good learning experience for the kid. Your mistakes get amplified in the league more than any other. He'll be fine. Lets see how he looks tonight. Finally.... it's been long time coming but finally a Flyer's season to really look forward to! Danny, Jonesy and Torts... The three best possible guys to have at this time. They are doing it the right way. From. The bottom up. Its heading in the right direction. Ferda!!!! Let's go Flyers!!!!
