For me it is simple. We are very fortunate to have the 2 best number 9’s in the division. What Davies can’t do is carry on letting them get in each others way while there’s next to no threat from an ineffective number 10. Willumson has to play 10 where he is most effective and the bench awaits May or Stansfield.

Stanno and May can play together. They are both making runs but the ball keeps going sideways or backwards. Possession is all good and well but scoring goals is the name of the game. We know we can dominate possession but sometimes we need to get the ball forward quicker. We’re too predictable and team’s have sussed us out. And I don’t understand why we bring every player back to defend corners. This is the only time most teams bring players forward,stanno would be lethal on the counter.

I deffo think May at 9 and Willumson at 10 is best combo - look at the Lincoln game for example. We haven’t seen Stanno tried out wide yet and I don’t think we will now….

It’s not so much they can’t play together the problem is they need space to create chances but our style of football crowds the opponents half so there isn’t space for them to make runs
