The Believers of the 3 major monotheistic Religions: Islam, Christianity and Judaism all acknowledge and are supposed to practice the universal principles of -'Love God above all things and love your neighbor as yourself'! When digging a bit, you'll find that in Latin, the word Religion, means "to bind, tie down, or to hold back," perhaps call it retrograde if you will. To be a follower of Christ, I would suggest getting rid of Religion and becoming a purist in the Spiritual teachings, of Yeshua. This also cuts out mind control, thru the State as well. Be well

The 'Star of Bethlehem' was not an astronomical or cosmological event. Nor was it just a spiritual event. Joseph (Jesus' father) formed an alliance with Theudas, the head of the Therapeutes. The 2 in warrior mode gave themselves titles taken from an OT verse. Joseph was the'Star' of David, & Theudas was the 'Scepter'. The West Manasseh Magi were a priestly caste of Samaritan philosophers founded in 44BC by Menahem and later led by Simon Zelotes. The Magians were Joseph's political associates. When they 'followed the star', they were agreeing with Joseph that a new Davidic king (Jesus) had been born. Because they recognized him as king, they were accepting him as legitimate.

Well... when Yeshua was visited by the wise men, 3 wise leaders of an entourage, they went to Yoseph house to bestowing gifts. Yeshua was about 2 years old by then. The Roman universal church is not Christian. The bloody wars are not of Messiah. There's a serious problem with confusion about Christianity. Followers of "THE WAY" are the remnant. These actual deciples are do not war physically. The confused masses and pretend enlightened are chasing the wind.
