Hey Quinton, did you know there were actually two more Star Wars movies that no-one knows about? They were both actually theatrically released and were called "The Ewok Adventure" (or "Caravan of Courage" internationally) and "Ewoks: The Battle For Endor". Yeah. They were both hilariously bad movies about the adventures of a human family stranded on Endor, but (unsurprisingly) they were not as bad as the original holiday special. Just thought you might like to know.

You see, in most countries people don't have the money nor the time to go out and buy too much food. We save our money for other things, like everyday food, health insurance (while the country that I live in, Brazil, offers free medical services, we still have health insurance. it just puts you on a higher place of the line) and everything else that isnt excess food. That's why Thanksgiving is an exclusively 'Murican thing.

There are actually two notable Thanksgiving songs in the pantheon, but the earlier one, "Jingle Bells", is rarely performed in full with the references to the specific holiday in tact, resulting in it being treated as a Christmas or general late fall/early winter song in practice. Also it's actually a comedy song about being godawful at romantic sleigh rides, but again, people tend to cut that part out.

After seeing the holiday special, i think I finally understand why a lot of people absolutely hated The Last Jedi. I mean sure TLJ had probably a deeper idea on the concept of light vs. dark, a planet that was essentially was the canteena for rich people, and a final message that (while not excutated perfectly) was essentially about violence shouldn't be the way to win a confrontation.
