I absolutely enjoyed this. I would love to see this as an hour+ vid of relaxing microorganism activity. No music, no major editing, just watching the busy little dudes toodling along...it's very relaxing but still engaging. I noticed that you haven't posted in a while (I have checked your other media) I hope you are safe and well. Happy New Year

It looks so pretty! A little world of wonders. After reading the description, I noticed how they really do bring things to their mouth with a vortex, that's cool.

Would be a great addition if we had some commentary though. Never the less, still a great channel. Thank you for your time and effort.

I think the universe is like this. We are so small and life is right in front of us but we to small to notice or hardly be effected by.

I wish I had an aquarium like this, but that I can see the germs without a microscope, if that makes sense

maybe make a very small aquarium and put a massive magnifying glass on it?

Can I ask you which camera you used to record this in 4k? I just purchased a Motic scope and I am trying to decide between mounting a DSLR or buying a dedicated microscope camera. The moticams though seem a bit too expensive for me. What's your setup if you don't mind me asking? Thank you! Love your channel!

Can you ever show us how you prepare a slide and show 1x then the zoom in magic? For newbies - it's kind of tricky to wrap my head around how small it is we're talking and how deep the 3D space goes in your slides. I remember on Journey to the Microcosmos your narrator talking about some specimens being suffocated or crushed by the slide, but when you're really zoomed in I see things moving on the z axis, coming in and out of focus. I don't really know how far they're moving though and whether they behave the same in a big pool of water, freely moving in 3 axes or if they're usually near a surface and track along it or what.

@noinformationavailable41144 жыл бұрын
Hey dude just trying to help- I don't think stentors have pseudopodia, they have contractile vacuoles that contract when they sense calcium. Pseudopodia is when a microbe can turn its cytoplasm from a solid state into a liquid in order to move, hope this helps!
