If you save the steel Tom,you'll be able to put something up yourself for the Highlands next winter. You already have most of the materials you need. Keep a thing 7 years and you'll find use for it. 🖒

Usually you find a use for it the day after you throw it out.

The only reason Tom started with The Feed Ring. Is because He's representing Ms Sarah Thorpe's permanent Engagement to Oliver Gaskin at Olly's Farms Diss in Norfolk. I told ya, warning shoot fired Farmer's Union. Is that crystal clear.

Progress! How very exciting to see it actually starting! Now, I know it's going to be a long haul for you, and construction never goes how you think it will (seriously... I think it's written into the contract: "Must cause the customer a minimum of one blinding migraine, or panic attack."), but just remember to breathe. Never be afraid to ask them questions, and keep on them. Let them know how minutely you and your channel are going to be involved, and it will help the progress keep ticking along. Now I'm not saying be a dick about it, just on top of the schedule, progress, and materials. You'll learn a lot too.

You definitely need utility shelves and some pegboard with lots of hanging clips so you can SEE where your tools are in your work shed. Get things off the ground and out of "piles" of stuff.

Hi Tom, to get to the big jobs, you have to start with the little ones first and having the cattle out in the fields certainly does help and by saving all those materials that you used for your Highlands is really good as they are then available for other future projects and the new cattle 🐮 shed certainly is exciting don’t you think 🤔 and I will look forward to seeing how all this work goes over the coming months.

if your looking to move that midden, it may pay to put up one up rather than do it temporary, few recycled steel beams set with some old sleepers between them, job done, have a look at any of the steels that are in the barn coming down and see if they can be used for the uprights, thats a fair saving right away.

I think there will be challenges ahead with building programme and perhaps compromises may be needed. Think that you should consider a sheltered viewing area that might allow people with physical and or mental impairments to visit wheel chair access / toilet access. Think it would be a great thing and you would be giving a little back to the community.

Also Cami from “the sheep game” uses them for a KZbin point of view. My channel is very small.
